  • Quote: Very interesting. I also found that my right wrist is 3/4" larger than my left. I kept goats for several years, and I wonder if that contributed (from milking), or if it's just being right-handed. So at 5'4" I'm either a medium (left hand) or a large (right hand) frame! We'll see where I am when I get back closer to my goal.
It must be the goats.... I just re-checked my wrists and mine are different sizes as well - my right wrist is half an inch SMALLER than my left - which means that the right hand side of me is medium build but the left hand side is large. Funny cos my left foot is bigger than my right one as well.
  • I remember once hearing that whatever side of our body we write with will be slightly bigger than the other. I told my friends and they all agreed it was true for them. I am right-handed, if I try my wedding ring on my right hand it won't fit!
  • Haven't got a measuring tape to hand so dunno, but my wrists and ankles have always been tiny - I can still wear the christening bracelet I was given when a baby! (And I could at my heaviest, although it's small). But I'm not naturally at the lower end of the scale, weight wise - have always been very heavy for my size. Even with a 27" waist, I'm still half a stone or so over what is supposed to be 'normal'. And even when I was a size 8, I weighed 9 and a half stones - as did one of my friends, although she was taller than me. Think we're all different. Small as my wrists are, I couldn't in a million years drop into the small end of normal, or even the middle of 'normal'.
