  • Well today was much better than yesterday...Yesterday I went over by 7pts and I won't even admit why or how that happened, let's just say ww 2pt mint bars are a red light for me and eating 2 boxes in one night is just not even normal! I will not buy them anymore, good lord!!

    I think I'm alitte under tonight, but I'm stuffed and feel good about my day...I got all my water, all my oil, 1 milk, 3 fruit/veggies but no exercise...I planned to get on my gazelle but my g/f came over and stayed much longer than we planned and now I'm too pooped to even think of it.

  • I feel so good. I can not even believe it. Though I was grumpy the last two nights. Don't know if it's because I'm hungrier or if it's because I am truly having a sugar withdrawal. None the less I physically feel great.

    This morning I got to the gym with only five minutes to warm up before my trainer. So I hopped on the treadmill just to get my hear rate up a bit before my training session. Then worked out with trainer for 30 minutes. Afterward, I made myself stay and do 15 on the elliptical. That took my calories burned up to 400.

    13 out of 25 and I worked out too.

    Here's the funny part. I took my own salad dressing to the pizza buffet. It worked out great. Don't even think the girl I met there even noticed. Not that I would have cared. But it worked out great. Not sure what we are doing for dinner tonight. But I still have all of my flex points left too! Yipee! Love to go into the weekend with those. May not make it back on here tonight, but I'll be on this weekend.

  • Welcome Dori. It is nice to have more people on this thread. The last one died out. so, the more the merrier. Dinner last night went well. I made homemade tacos and tostadas. I stayed within points and had frozen yogurt again afterward. I have really enjoyed the frozen yogurt.

    We are going to a friends house to plan a vacation tonight. We are going to eat frozen lasagna and salad and bread. She calculated the lasagna points for me as 8. Yet another on point day. Still have not used my flex points. I will use some tomorrow for my dad's birthday cake.

    Yesterday was a good day, I was within my pts...Today I've got enough left for popcorn, but my day hasn't incorporated my fruits/veggies or milk....Do you guys really fret about getting those in?? Hubby wanted Red Pepper for dinner, which is a hole in the wall taco joint near us....here's my day:
    B: oatmeal w/skim milk and splenda 5pts
    L: pb&j on eng muffin 4pts, banana 1pt, baked chips 2pts
    D: 3 tacos 12pts, chips & salsa 3pts
    Later: popcorn w/oil 4pts

    I worked out at curves, earning 2 AP pts which I've used....so I'm over pts by 1.

    Last Tues I was 205.6, this am I was 200.6....so I guess TOM leaving and back to my dieting was def. needed

    So far today, I've had 24 points total!! Much better improvement in higher numbers finally for the past 2-3 days! I have 4 points left for the evening to snack or whatever I want.. if I get hungry!! I just hate using them just 'to eat' since I probably won't be hungry later since it's already 7:36pm.
  • Hi girls. Looks like there's quite a few of us on here at the same time this morning. Well, it's still morning for me in Az. Yesterday finished up just fine. I even enjoyed two light beers at our friends' house. Then we went to Dairy Queen and I used 8 flex points on a choc. dipped cone.

    I don't worry too much about getting in all of my diary, fruits/veggies, etc. If I do notice I go too long without one or the other, I make sure to get some in. Our dinners are usually pretty well balanced and I eat at least two servings of veggies with dinner (since they are 0 points Otherwise, I don't stress too much about it.

    Looks like we all eat pretty balanced. Funny how sometimes when I read other's menus, I want what they had. Right now I want Jenn's toast with jelly. ?? I will not indulge right now. We are going to my parents' for dinner tonight. It is my dad's birthday. I will use a few more flex tonight. I really hope to see a 2 pound loss this week. I have really followed program.

  • hey Amy.. my toast with jelly sure was good!! I use the parkay, spray butter that has 0 everything so its 0 calories and some sugar free jelly.. Mmmm!!

  • Don't ya just love Subway?? It's definitely a staple in my life for lunches out, or quick dinners where I want alot for low points

    I got on the scale today at 5am, don't ask why...I woke up, and thought...wonder what I am?? It read 199.5. I went back to bed until alittle after 10am, and it was 198.8. Last Tues, it read 205. I'm not holding my breath on a HUGE loss, but at least I'm definitely in the right direction and my WW meeting on Wed. should be a nice loss of some kind. I am definitely back into the swing of things, and feeling so much better than I had when I went off the wagon for a couple months.
    Here's today, although it's not quite over...I'll still post.

    L: ham sandwich on ww bread w/mustard 2pts, baked chips 2pts

    That's 20 out of 28, and I feel like I've really been snacking today since breakfast wasn't until 10:30, lunch was around 12:30 and those snacks in between....I'll prob. have an ice cream dessert of some sort, I've got a couple 1/2 gallons of that Edy's slow churned ice cream that is low in points.

  • Well... my January goal was to get to my pre-holiday weight of 179... I'm just one pound away already! Yowza! I lost five pounds already this month... that's crazy. I'm not complaining though! I'm sure it will start to slow down though because that's a lot of weight in such a little time, and nothing good lasts forever! Just wanted to share my progress!

  • Fantastic Just Some Girl!! That is great. I am glad to see everyone back at it after the holidays. I am also to see so much more activity on this site. At least my activity Dinner went okay with my parents. My mom's cornbread was an experiment and it failed. Thank God! Kept me away from it. I ate a few beans and not much else for dinner. I did however have dessert. So, my flex points are all used up for the week. Good thing my week starts over Wednesday. I will have no problem sticking within points on Tomorrow and Tuesday. I have weigh in Tuesday night. Hope you all have a great Monday. Will chat with you all then. --Amy
