Katpo. Is that something you do break down the points for yourself to 5 a day? Does that make controlling the WPA easier?

Always looking for tips and new ideas to work the program

I usually do give myself the 5 points a day instead of saving them all up to use at once. However, I don't usually take the extra 28 points a week for maintenance.

Katpo I tried Core your way with the 5 points a day limit. It worked great. I had mostly core foods today with 5 points worth of non core foods and believe me I was real careful about what I chose for those 5 points - I actually had 1 square of hershey special dark chocolate just one square! where doing it the regular way or doing flex I would have eaten the whole bar of chocolate. I'm so proud of myself. Thanks for sharing that great tip!

Glad we could help you! If you ever have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

And way to go on the ONE square of dark chocolate! I know exactly what you mean about the "old days". I have Dove dark bars and each breaks up into 5 pieces. I usually buy three bars, break them up, and put them in a ziploc bag. They're by my bedside and I eat one every other night, so those three bars (like $1.50) last me for a whole month. And I always know that if tonight's not my "chocolate" night, if I'll hang on, then I'll get one tomorrow!

Whatever works, huh?

Oh that's a good idea to pre-break them up and baggin them. My big thing is around 3pm I need my little cup of espresso (no sugar) and a cookie or treat of some kind. I've been making sure that little treat is only 1 or 2 points max. That way I have that little snack that I love and I'm still in control.

I've also notice that I feel much better since I switched to Core. I'm not as moody, I have more energy and I'm really not as hungry. When I check to see actually how many points I ate yesturday I was surprise that I really didn't eat as much as I though and I was completely satisfied. I feel like with core you really focus on the quality of the food more then the quantity.

I'm hooked core kicks butt! LOL

Can you be more specific?

What have you tried so far, and what do you think is/is not working about it?

Yeah Me! I had my weigh in today and I'm down 1.4 lbs. Now I have exactly 10 lbs until goal - I couldn't beleive it. I felt like I ate so much on core. I guess quality does make a difference.

Wish me luck in second week of core. YEAH ME!

Hi - I'm working on the WW Core Plan myself and so far I think I'm doing good, but I haven't had my first weigh in yet (aside from the very first time) and I hope it works out for me. I don't like the flex plan (I've done it before) because I'm really, really not good at writing things down. Instead this time I just filled my kitchen cupboards will core foods so I will always have the right foods waiting for me when I get home at night.

Congratulations, Ladybug! You sound hooked! I hope you have an equally good second week.

Tammy, I, too, was bad at Flex since I always made poor choices. Good Luck!
