There's a 7/11 right across from the freshman dorms. It's closer than the cafeteria.

I'm glad I don't live in the dorms. It's hard enough for me to cook for myself.

I remember that same moment — stepping on the scale and feeling like everything just… stopped. It’s not just about a number, it’s the realization that something inside has shifted. What helped me begin was not some extreme diet, but small, steady changes: cooking at home more often, walking 30 minutes a day, and keeping a journal to track how I felt, not just what I ate. The emotional part is just as real as the physical. I also found strength in unexpected places — reading famous poems on sites like quillsliteracy org gave me perspective. There's something grounding in reading words that have held up over time. You're already doing something powerful by choosing to speak up and start. Finding the right support matters — not just people who cheer you on, but those who understand what the journey feels like. You're not alone.

I understand you. I also very rarely cook at home. I recently found espn reviews and started spending a bit more time at home. I love watching sports events and lately I watch them quite a lot. Because of that, I started cooking a bit more at home and I like what I cook. Maybe I will find some time for cooking and everything will be great. This will also have a good effect on my weight, because I will be able to create my own recipes and adjust the calories.
