On a positive note, I finished my first month at Curves.... Drumroll please!!!
I lost over a FOOT (thankfully not vertically, as that would put me in the oomplaloopah category ) Yes 14.25 inches gone! and 3 pounds of FAT of the 8 pounds I'm down.. I'm off to doooo some crafts................................!
Good morning - almost afternoon.
I am getting my butt back into gear this week. I'm going to make sure I get back into my gym schedule, with a VENGENCE! I know I can do it.
Yesterday I was at NY & Company, trying on skirts & the size 12 was too big! Super Duper Yay 4 Me! Before I started the diet, I was almost into a 16 & I'm only 23 & haven't had any kids. I'm sorry, I don't mean to gloat, but that was a big milestone for me.
This is gonna be a short work week because of Good Friday - Praise the Lord! I'm so glad. Cross your fingers that the scale will go down for my weigh-in tonight.
P.S. The zoo was great! What a perfect mini getaway!
OK so after all those finger crossings, well wishes, good lucks, and prayers, my Hollywood interview has been bumped to tomorrow. Sigh.
At least I'll get a good work out tonight, though. I'm going to do some interval running and lift some weights in hopes of losing some of what I've put on. I told you I'm not changing my ticker, but I'll tell you that I have 19 lbs to lose by June 10 (do the math, girls) so I'm hoping some of the weight is pre-period weight that snuck up and hopped on with the real pounds I've gained. Moo.
I sooooooo want out of this job. Do I whine about this enough? New and improved garbage to put up with every day, it seems.
Good news with DH's job though. After working his 2nd full week, he got called into the boss' office and they told him that they're bumping up his pay $1/hr. I'LLLLLLLL TAKE IT! We need every little bit we can get. Fortunately, DH's vacation time that didn't get used from his last job showed up on his last paycheck. That's very helpful for paying bills and making sure we can get clothes for Key West and such.
Want - retail management, customer service, and sales are all my specialty. The interview is for Store Director of Hollywood Video.
And incidentally, they were just kidding about having a mandatory conference call, so the interview is today again. Not doing the interval running or weights then, probably just 1.5 miles in the neighborhood. Yeesh.
So anyway, don't forward those good lucks, finger crossings, well wishes, or prayers to tomorrow anymore. Keep them around for today. Craziness!
STEPHIE ~ Too bad about your wasp sting, ouch! Benadryl does wonders for the swelling, I hope your hand gets back to normal fast!
SUNLIT ~ I love the Greek Yogurt and stock up on it whenever I'm at TJ's. I just discovered our Wegman's carries it, too, but it cost a little more. It's hard to go back to regular yogurt after eating the Greek kind, it's so yummy!
WEEZLE ~ Here's another "good luck" wish coming your way - I hope you get the job!
DH and I spent all day yesterday mulching the flower beds and by the time we called it quits I was just too pooped to post! The mornings are going to be really rushed for me all this week because little Maggie is on her spring break and I have to be at their house by 8 every day. Tomorrow I'm keeping Audrey out of school and my DIL and I are taking my GD and Audrey and Maggie to Hershey to take the "Chocolate Factory Tour". The kids are really looking forward to it, it should be fun. I just hope it won't be too hard for me to resist sampling all the chocolate! Later in the week we plan to go to the Herr's Potato Chip factory to see how they make potato chips, but that won't tempt me at all since I don't care for potatoes.
I haven't written in a couple days! Sorry!
