Something to consider regarding your husband, Aqua - my husband acted the exact same way. He did not, in any sense, want me to lose weight. I was angry and hurt, and I finally sat down and talked to him about it. It wasn't because he was afraid other guys would be attracted to me finally, it was because he was afraid I'd finally come out of my shell and start looking at other guys. He told me I'd always been beautiful and always will be, but he was afraid I wouldn't think of him the same way.

It's likely not that he doesn't find you attractive. It's probably your average wear and tear, and could also be confidence issues with him as well.

For me, I've also always been overweight. I can't think of a time when I wasn't, but I do know what got me here. Now I just have to change my entire way of living to make it better.. easy, right?

Hi brandnewme!

I can see the feelings I've been experiencing are normal, so many have been able to relate to what I have said.

It appears that there are a lot of processes mentally as well as physically they we go through on the weight loss journey. I guess when we are so busy focusing on not indulging, it gives us a chance to fill that "void" with other thoughts. Some good, sometimes the our own insecurity takes us for a ride.

I keep telling myself I'll get there, but I don't know if I can say it's easy...lol... we'll get there though.
