I like it too! And I thought I would hate it. Other times when I recorded food I felt like the food was still controlling me. Well, I must have a different attitude about it, because I like entering the info. I especially like reports and looking at graphs and charts! yeah, geek, I know...

18 months. I started in June of last year.

Calories? I eat about 1200-1300 a day. I started out higher than that, of course, but the more weight you lose, the fewer calories you need.

You seem like you're doing great so far

Grrrrr, I did it again!

I did great all day long, no nibbling on anything, then I blew it cooking dinner for my husband. I nibbled a piece of potato from leftover cheesy potatoes his mother sent home with him last night, biscuit dough while preparing the biscuits, then I ate a whole biscuit once they were done!

*kicking myself*

So, write it down. Own the food. It's yours. And it's okay. We don't have to be perfect everyday. Be accountable to yourself!

Maybe you can get al little exercise in today.

I wrote down the biscuit. How much it is for one bite of cheesy potatoes is beyond me, though.

lol

You're not alone. Today I bought some honey roasted peanuts "for the guys" - you guessed it - I had to ''try" some when I got home (you never know, they may not have been fresh and it's Mom's job to keep her family's health in mind) . At least I measured them. A measly 1/4 cup had 170 calories - so I won't be doing that again anytime soon . To top it off, I had some popcorn . It's cottage cheese and fruit for me for dinner tonight

I think it's because it's been so darned cold and windy today and it looks like it's going to snow - I just want to eat, eat, eat when the weather is like this.

By the way, 1 oz. of potatoes au gratin has 37.4 calories, according to Nutridiary.

lol

When I eat a small bite of something that is rich, fattening or sweet that isn't on my plan, I count it as at least 50 calories as a "penalty"

Me too. Locked up in the house (we've had some really crappy weather) there's not much else to do. I want COMFORT FOOD!
