Default Wednesday results

I walked 10,166 steps yesterday, seems my pedometer & I have an understanding of what it takes to get it done! Also downed 84.5 oz of water (5 - .5L bottles)!

It's raining here today so I doubt I'll get my full amount of steps in.

Okay, I got my 30 minutes of exercise in for today.

I ran 5km on the treadmill in 31:42. I was actually hoping to get it done in under 31 minutes, but even though I felt really good and really strong the whole time, that did not happen

Welcome back, Bonniebelle I hope you had lobster and clam chowder while you were in New England! Mmm, chowder.

Finished my exercise for today - ran 4 miles on the treadmill in 40:25. Now I am finishing off my lunch - lean cuisine chicken marsala (which is okay, but has green beans, which I am not too keen on) 2 tbs hummus, and celery and cucumber.

Sandy - all I know about portions is that a real portion is almost always much, much smaller than one would think it is, or like it to be

Default Friday Evening!

Hi Ladies - Wow, it's feast or famine with us! I was overjoyed to see all the posts from old and new friends. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Can't stay on long - I am exhausted from a grueling day at work. I conducted single handedly 2 two-hour trainings and I can barely keep my eyes open. Did a late night treadmill workout last night but I don't have the energy to get on the treadmill this evening. But I am down to 232 again

Carla for Wedesday - way to go!

Sandy for Wednesday and Thursday! I find you extremely motivating. Hang in there. Plateaus are killers - keep in mind that being stuck is better than gaining. WoW - a whole year of exercise? That is commitment.

Bonnie back! It is so good to have you back with us.

1of 3 for Thursday - you go girl. What tenacity you have.

Fish for Thursday and Friday. You are our shining example of commitment.

Have a great night all!

Default Saturday night late!

Hi Ladies - I have been tied up all day shopping and prepping to paint DD room. It's 11 p.m. and I am exhausted. But her room is starting to look like a room again. I am praying the carpet installer can do the job the week of Thanksgiving so we can move everything back in time for holiday company.

Unfortunately, I did not get on the treadmill today but the moving furniture and painting counts for something. Haven't been on the scale to see if I am maintaining my 232 lbs or gaining. Will check tomorrow and let you know.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Bonniebelle for you! I hope you got my pm. Again, it's great to have you back

After 2 days of sloth, today was on again, with 20 minutes gazelling and a short walk to make a total of at least 30 minutes. So that makes Mon, Tues, Wed, and today - 4 days success out of 6. Fingers are crossed for 5 out of 7 after tomorrow.

At my last check-up my BP was very slightly above normal for the first time ever, so I guess it really is time to get serious about this whole exercise/clean living/weight loss stuff. Enough fooling around treading water! Please whip and abuse me if I don't behave! Hmmm.... I might enjoy that too much...

Default Sunday NIght

Hey Lovely Ladies - I am on the couch exhausted! DH had to work most of the day and DD went to church w/a friend. I came home from church and started painting. No exercise but I painted by myself for about 3 hours. I am taking that for my exercise Been working on the same 32 oz of water all day but I ate healthy until this evening when we walked to white castle and I got 3 jalapeno burgers and onion chips

Mmmm. . . not doing too well on my Christmas goal. Promised my friend that we would start on an eating plan tomorrow. She is doing Medical Weight Loss again - I can't go back to that but I have to come up with something by tomorrow. Wish me

Bonnie - I am standing with you and carla as a part of the lazy butt girls! Gotta get myself in gear too. Let's go for the gold this week. I am thinking about what I am committing to.

carla for your workout!

Have a great night ladies!

My goals for this week: Focus on the water.

No eating after dinner--this is key for me, as in fall/winter, the early darkness seems to drive me back into the kitchen for a big bowl of cold cereal and nuts. Not a bad snack, but not a time I am actually hungry. Time to break this habit.

Hi! Everybody I had such a busy weekend that had no time to log on, we were unpacking our suitcases to find out what we have as gifts for our relatives back home (at last I am going to India as my father is very sick ) and what we need to buy, then making lists of whom to visit what to take for them by end of the day my brain felt pounded any way we r done now just waiting for next month......... but this week my goals r the same doing my exs focussing on water and choclates ( we r buying so many for gifts).
Bonnie dear thanks for looking into Indian reciepie book for me but I dont put that much of oil my usual oil is about 2-3 teaspoon just enough to fry cumin and tomato other spices I add later which do not require oil to give out flavour like turmaric, coriander powder, hot spice powder.........then what do you think about the portion sizes. I might be eating too big portions and so I am stuck...then I went to this party and only eating dinner put me up by 1 pound.... next month I am going to India ( my home country) I dont know how many I will put back on as I am definetly going to out..........so long girls back to my schedule of ex........ tea so far...........

Default Afternoon, all!

I logged 10,170 for last Thursday. 3 days at over 10,000 steps each!! I feel pretty good about that! And I got all my water in as well!

Friday, Saturday & Sunday were all pretty much a bust. Didn't wear my pedometer any of these days and was just very lazy.

But today is a new week and I am already half way to 10,000 steps!

I will keep my same challenge; 10,000 steps & 84.5 oz of water daily. My advanced challenge will to actually maintain these numbers for the whole work week; Monday - Friday.
