Geri, that is great about the 21.5 miles for the bike ride. WTG!!! Yes, Ft. Myers is on the gulf coast. We're leaning to that area. It's about 2 1/2 hours from Ft. Lauderdale. Can't wait to go there and see it. Not sure when though.

Hey everyone! Just got done weeding and running to town. Man that was a lot of work!! But is was all worth it, it looks so much better and since Bayley's party is coming up soon I will feel a lot better about having people over. The inside of my house is pretty good (thanks to flylady!! LOL) so that is a big relief. Now I can focus on the party instead of all the mess!

Didn't really plan anything for dinner tonight since Dh will be getting in a little later and will probably already have eaten. I woke up with a sore throat so I think I am just going to take it easy the rest of the night so I can start new tomorrow. BTW when I went back to bed earlier today the baby and I slept till 12!! We never do that! It was nice though.

Penny what CD's do you want burned? I may have some you want, I have a whole bunch and wouldn't mind burning some for you! You need some me time in the car and music is perfect for that! Did you have a nice day with the family?

Spryng I love that you wasted some of your day away too! Isn't that what Sundays are for? What games were you playing? I need to get mine out again and play, I need some new games though, I think I have gone as far as I can on some of them and they are getting boring. Dinner sounds good, how did it turn out?

Hi Jaymi hope you are weathering the storm ok!

Crystal glad you got a little nap in, good for you.

Geri I haven't heard anything about the weather lately, what's going on with the storm? I feel bad you may have to postpone for a couple of days but at least you found out now instead of when you were already there, someone is looking out for you

Ok Dh just got home so I want to spend some time with him. Let me know if you all are going to chat later, I would love to if you are! TTYL

Hi Ladies

Geri,
You are just doing so awesome! How long does a bike ride like that take you? Did you go with a friend this time?

Spryng,
I bet you and the kids had a good morning It is always fun to just spend time with the kids doing whatever they want. They love it when mommy joins in the fun Anything planned for tomorrow? Are you still tanning?

Jaymi,
I hope you have a great Core day tomorrow! I can tell you are going to do great!

Crystal,
I hope everything works out ok! How would you do the business with the kids?

Jill,
I am so glad you got everything done in the garden! I know it must look great! What is the date of the party?

I too am worried about the storm Frances... I think it is going to be a category 5 before it gets closer. I have seen one report where they predict the louisiana path... Sure hope not.... But if it isn't here.... it would be somewhere close probably. We usually get some bad stuff from the hurricanes here.

Ok I am gonna get my kids off to sleep and try to get back here

Penny...it takes 2 hours and yes, I rode part way with my gf this time. It was 5.5 miles each way to and from her house so we rode 10.5 together if my math is correct . My knees are aching right now so I'll have to go find some Aleve! Don't age girls!! LOL
I haven't seen any reports of a LA track...just FL...but yep, it sure is looking nasty. Oh well...can't prevent it right??

OK, I'm beat tonight. I'll talk to you all tomorrow!! Have a great day.

Good evening all!

Well here is the end to my lazy lazy day, lol. I should feel terrible about not doing anything in the house, but you know what?? I DON'T!!!! LOL. I know I will catch up on everything tommorrow.

So I watched 6 ft under tonight... only one more episode left! And it will be a good one!

Geri, that is some great exercise!!! You are showing all of us up!!! And if you need to call to gripe about the weather in FL then I'll be here to gripe with you!! LOL... call anytime!

Penny, nothing really planned for tomorrow. I may go to the store just to get out of the house.. but I mainly will be cleaning. And no, I stopped tanning a few weeks ago. I just got so burnt out on it. I loved the color I got but I felt actually going was a hassle, even though it was once a week. I won't be doing it again next year. But my color hasn't started to fade yet, so that is good! I truly hope that storm doesn't hit you! How scary is that!

Jill, didnt know you had a gamecube! What games do you play on it? Our collection has slowly increased. I bought luigi's mansion when we first bought our system... I don't play it anymore but the kids do. I liked Mario Sunshine for awhile and now I'm bored of that too, but the kids love it! And they do really good with it! I bought Harvest Moon yesterday and that is fun! You get to plant crops, raise farm animals... get married and have kids, etc. You'd like it since you like The Sims. I also bought The Hobbit, it was on sale for 10 bucks... and it's actually pretty fun. Difficult, but fun. But we have Swingers Golf (dh has it with him right now, we bought him his own gamecube last week) that one is fun. Crazy Taxi, Looney Toons, Tetris Worlds, An arcade one with pacman and dig dug and all those on it, Blow Out, etc... a few more. Mostly ones for the kids to learn how to play eventually. And dinner was great! I used to make it all the time but just forgot about it when I started doing Saving Dinner.

Crystal, what did you do in town? Talk anymore to your dh?

Jaymi, hope you are safe! How are you doing?

Well, I am off to bed. Hope everyone has a great nights sleep! TTYL!

Hey Spryng I really want Harvest Moon!! I have read up on it and have tried to get it on e-bay cheap but it always goes up in price as soon as it's almost over! I have Mario Party 4, Mario Kart and then my dh has a bunch of dirt bike games. I need to get some more though, actually I shouldn't or I won't get anything done!! I'm glad dinner went well, it sounded good!

Ok I'll be back for the rest of you but wanted to post real fast! I'll be back!!

Good evening ladies.

I never made it here again today til now. I've been cleaning so much, dh thinks I've gone nuts. I NEVER cleaned like this before I started dieting. With eating 3 meals and 3 snacks every day, I have so much more energy. Some days I don't know where it comes from, especially if I stayed up late and only got about 6 hours of sleep. I used to eat twice a day and sit on this thing all day long. NOT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry if I don't get personal with anyone, I'm going to go to bed soon.

QOTD: I have several pet peeves but the biggest ones are people who ask for advice and don't take it. My sil and a friend are the worst about this. People who thinks they know everything drive me bonkers. They ask questions just so they can answer themselves and appear smarter. (If you knew the answer, why ask in the first place? Just keep your mouth shut, please). And people who sponge off of others. I mean, GET A LIFE already. My best friend has a stepson who is 33 yo and lives in the basement. Doesn't work, expects them to buy everything for him. And nothing physically wrong with him to prevent him finding a job. I have several more but that's enough complaining for one night :

WI is Tuesday. I can hardly wait.

OK, venting time.......I'm getting tired of dh having to work all the time. His normal shift is 2 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off. So every other weekend he is supposed to have a 3 day weekend. But the opposite shift is short 3 ppl and so they have to have atleast 2 each night from Scott's shift to keep up with production. This month he has had a total of 8....that's right....8 nights off And since he's trying to get his gunsmithing business going better, he spends alot of time on that when he's off. I don't see him much at all. I told him today that we need to set aside one night every month, ahead of time, that we find someone to watch the kids and we go out and do something we want to do. The last time we did anything like that was the end of July and it had been nearly 2 years before that. My sil actually asked today if we would like a night in a motel and they take the kids, for a Christmas present this year. I was amazed. But dh wasn't too sure about it. She asked things we wanted last year and we ended up with a meat and cheese snack thingy from Walmart. I told him it would be nice, but he doesn't thinks she will follow through. We'll see, i guess.

Ok enough venting.

I'm going to bed. Will try to get here in the a.m. Unless I start cleaning before I know it......

Have a great night all.

Ok I'm back, had to make a late dinner for the little one, she went down for a late nap and then woke up after we had dinner. I hope she sleeps tonight since she slept till 12 today! LOL

So I heard that tropical storm hit SC isn't that where Jaymi is? That's so scary I hope she is ok. I think I will stay up late tonight and catch the 11 news so I can see what the progress is on the hurricane. I really hope it turns and doesn't hit FL again. Those things are so scary.

Penny did you say the hurricane might hit LA? I really hope not. I'll have you and anyone else in it's path in my prayers. Stay safe! I hope you can get back on this things tonight but I think it might already be past your bedtime!

Geri awesome bike ride!! That is so cool! I'm hoping just to get a couple miles on the eliptical tomorrow. That's enough for me! Keep us posted on your vacation plans! You can vent to all of us too!

Deana are you doing flylady? Or are you just highly motivated? Whatever it is good job! It feels great to have a clean house, huh? Keep up the good work, I'm sure the extra cleaning is good exercise too!

Ok gals, I have a Baby magazine calling my name in the other room, if anyone is up and wanting to chat just IM me, I'll be back and forth. TTYL!!
