Red face

Hey everyone My weekend hasn't been the most productive but unkind female problems occured.. and its sooo hard for me to want to do anything when I have cramps that could kill an elephant. I did a lot of cleaning and decorating my room (That should be counted as arm exercise.. putting tons of Dali pictures up over and over until they're perfect). I did some sit ups, crunches, and a bit of Jane Fonda.. until I hurt my back. Nothing major - I think I just didn't have enough room and put it in the wrong place.

I also had 3 chocolate bars not all at once, through the past two days.. you know to "help" with the pain.. but otherwise did very well I'm excited because the 10pack of random exercise vids on ebay that I've been wanting ends on bidding tomorrow ;D can't wait. I still need to get some good work-out shoes though and a scale So much stuff.

Glad to hear everyone is enjoying themselves

Just wanted to update everyone that my leg is better. I think total rest helped heal it. But now I am way behind on housework and such so I am not staying.
Just here to say hello.

Morning all,

I type this in great pain. I am burnt from my trip to the renfair yesterday. Oh my and I am tired. But being burnt makes you tired too. It was a great day. and I went with a couple of friends. They hadn't been to the fair in 10 years. We took them to the best performances and walked around and shopped and watched demonstrations. I was good, I did not buy anything. I just got the business cards of some the people whose items I am interested in. We walked around so much. Even though it wasn't fast walking, it was a lot of walking. We were there from 10:30 to 6:30, so that was a very long workout. I was concerned that I was not going to be able to do it but I did. And I broke my shoe along the way. I wasn't going to buy new ones there though, too expensive. So and I rigged up the one I was wearing and it lasted the rest of the day.
I too am bidding on something on ebay. I love ebay, we are always buying and selling on there. Right now I am bidding on a Richard Simmons food mover kit with like 5 unopened videos and recipe cards and stuff. It ends in two hours so I hope I get it. I am going to sell my Michael Thurmond stuff too. Well, I have to go get ready for work. I think it will take me a little longer to get ready today.
Take care all, I will write personal stuff later.
WI tomorrow, I don't think I made it, but we will see.
Very red Skittles, no rainbow colors here.

Thumbs up

That just brought the biggest smile to my face

I've had about 4 hours of sleep because I thought I had an appointment today but it was cancelled! So I've been sitting here trying to decide whether to stay awake since I'm already awake, or go back to sleep and catch up even though I know It'll be hard for me to wake up. I think I'll stay up and get stuff done!

I get to buy my videos off of ebay today and i hope they come within this week! I want to get started I need good shoes though, and good shoes are so hard to find or so expensive

Hope everyone else has as much of a motivational day! I've been realizing sooo much in my life lately and it makes me want to do this do this do this! Then write a book I've never inspired myself so much before.. I think this is actually it, and I'm so excited

We can all do this!

Get everyone amped up with a smile!

I'm up, I'm up!!!!

I am sitting at my desk -- just finished my breakfast of an egg white omelet and sausage -- need to eliminate the sausage --- that's tomrrrow's goal --- go back to turkey bacon.

My legs are definately tellling me they enjoyed the walk last night. My muscles are just sore enough to tell me to do it again, but not so sure they are painful.

Tonight I am going to a friend's house on the way home to see her new baby! I am so excited to see her and her new son, but at the same time it's so hard for me to handle pregnant women and new babies these days. I am thrilled for anyone who can get pregnant and have a baby, but at the same time it reminds me of what I don't have. I know it will be a wonderful visit - she is a dear friend and I am so happy for her. I just have to remind myself that we are doing everything we can to have our own child and our day will come.

The plan is to work out at home tonight after my visit --- either the treadmill or the bike or a walk with the dogs.....anything to get the bod moving!!

Time to work!
Have a fabulous day!!!

Thumbs up Ebay Winner

I WON!!!

Yes I won my ebay auction. I am very happy. I just paid for it and I hope I get it this week. This is the one I am going to do. Richard Simmons was one of the only exercise videos I ever enjoyed doing. So now I will have like 8 different ones to do. So no boredom there. There's just all kinds of different music and toning stuff. Plus the recipes and the food mover. For me I think the food mover will be easier instead of trying to write down what I have eaten. I don't take the time to do that.

Anyway, I am at work, and there is a desk with all this chocolate on it, and I told the lady over there that if I came over there and tried to grab chocolate to tell me that I didn't want it. Cause I know I go over there when I am stressed and there is a lot of stress here.

Well lunch break is almost over. I started off the morning bad but the day is getting better.
Take care,
Still red Skittles, but getting some of the rainbow back.

Default You know....

I have a bunch of exercise videos sitting here, gathering dust. I COULD sell them on eBay, I suppose...but since I know that I will never get around to doing that, I'd be happy to send them to whoever wants 'em!

Here's what I just gathered up, though I know there's more...somewhere...

Kathy Smith~ Functionally Fit, Peak Fat Burning
TaeBo~8 Minute Workout
The Firm~Total Body Aerobic Workout with Weights
Total Yoga~the Complete Yoga Workout Video for Everyone

Hmmm...maybe I should go through my diet library also! I've got a $hitload of books, also gathering dust.

So, if anyone's interested...let me know.

I have to get back to cleaning. That's my workout for today. Scrubbing floors, vacuuming, dusting. Fun.

Back later....

Hey everyone

I am bone weary, but it feels good. Classes started today! I was so excited/nervous, and basically everything that could go wrong did. I'm talking EVERYTHING except for flat out missing class. Got off work late, Adam had been driving my car and left it on empty, my laptop was acting wonky, I forgot my books at home, I got to class 3 minutes late after all the other garbage, and to top it all off... I left all my pens in my purse instead of the backpack! Well hey, at least no one in the class is going to forget who I am. You know, the chick who arrived late on the first day, had a bright red face and was breathing hard for the next 5 minutes. The class was really cool, though, and I even finished my first writing assignment and felt good about it.

Oh, and it turns out for the best that I lost that weight, because I seriously wouldn't have a chance of fitting in the stupid desks otherwise. As it is, they aren't comfortable, but they will do.

There are so many replies I want to make, but between working all night, running around the campus for hours today, the nearly two hour round-trip commute and Curves, I'm seriously wiped out. Thank goodness my darling daughter made dinner for us tonight. I am so glad I taught her how to make spaghetti.

I'm going to head to bed as soon as I get my next article jetted off to the paper. At least it is already written. I just have to think my way through emailing it.

*HUGS* thanks for being such great support. Do you all know how much I love and admire you?

Andria

Hi all! Just checking in before bed. It's almost 1:00 AM here and I think I need some sleep.

You guys are going to think I'm absolutely nutts, but I don't know what my weight was at the beginning of the 2 pounds in 2 weeks challenge! I went back and searched the threads for that time frame when it began and I found where I said I would join in, but didn't put what my weight was. What a doofus!!! I promise to weigh in the morning....and write it down.....in case anybody wants to start another one.

I'm really excited, I get to have lunch tomorrow/today with my adopted daughter (2cute's daughter). I have to deliver a plant to her that I was too stupid to realize she couldn't take across the border with her last time. She said today she wanted to get the beautiful plant I bought for her. I told her she better do it quick before the plant isn't beautiful anymore. It's fading fast. I'm not much of a plant mommy anymore.

My knee is still giving out on me occasionally. Still don't know what I did to it. I do know that all the stairs in my house (I live in a quad, in case you forgot) are killing me.

Well, my dears, I think I'm going to get out of here. Love ya bunches!

Hey Thin... give my baby a hug from me. I miss her.
She has been so busy I don't think she misses me much.. yet. LOL
She is going to be VERY disappointed that she is going to miss a weekend trip to Roaring River State Park this weekend. She LOVES going there and we go there as a family at least once or twice a year. We go EVERY May ... except last year we missed for our younger daughters college graduation... and this year for her wedding.
I feel bad we did not take our oldest daughter before she moved. I guess we will have to plan a trip next summer ... if she comes home. We go trout fishing and camping. Well... lately we have been staying in cabins instead of camping.... but I am getting OLD. LOL It is sooo beautiful there.

I am not anxious to weigh.
But... I have one more day. LOL
I will report in.... but I don't think I will be a very happy camper.
See you all in the morning.

Good Morning!

I know it's WI (not Wisconsin!) day, but you know my policy...I can't weigh in til I've slept. I just came in from work, so it's still not "tomorrow" for me yet. I know, I know...WEIRDO... Andria, you're a night girl, you know what I mean, right? Anyway, as soon as I get up, I'll be jumping on the scale and reporting in for the challenge.

A good omen...as I was leaving work this morning, a co-worker commented, "Have you been dieting? You look like you've lost some weight." I could have kissed her! And I don't even like her!

Allrighty then, off to bed for me....shouldn't have had that coffee...

Oh, Yeay WI day, let's see, we have and more
head's, So many festivals I get oh yeah, and beer.
Oh, wait you said (not Wisconsin) I guess that means I have to get on the scale.

Ok well, I have decided that I need to get a new scale. I have one of those cheap old kinds. It says that I am at 290 lbs, and I know that I could not have lost 10 lbs in this short time period. But I will take it for now, and buy a truthful scale later on today. maybe

I woke up late this morning, still a little sore from the burn. I put my Michael Thurmond thing on ebay and sold it for $60 within an hour of putting it on. So I have to pack that up and send it off today. I am a happy camper.

Well off to get ready for ugh, work. Everyone have a beautiful WI day.

Tip for the day,

"If you're happy and you know it
If you're unhappy and you know it
It will make you feel better, and you've exercised."

No one ever said the tips had to be good

Hugs to all on this wonderful Tuesday
