Robin: I am so jealous that you can have a carb day. I have little or no self control once I eat certain carbs so I have to be very strict. I am happy for you though.

I am feeling so much better this morning. Hoping this is going away now.

Linda: That is one thing I do eat is spaghetti without the spaghetti. In other words sauce, meat, vegis, it is so good that way. I don't eat it very often but once in a while. My fav is jalepeno chicken. I will have my dil write out the ingredients so I can share that one with everybody. It is a cream sauce with chicken, green olives, jalepeno, celery, and some other good vegis.

My son stopped and bought me a Blimpie's sandwich yesterday and I don't know if it was cuz I was sick or what but I did not like it at all. It was a spicy ham and cheese. He said they were only going to put two rings of onion on and he had them do more, they said that would add to the carbs but he had them do it anyway. The bread had no flavor to me. Thought it was kind of pricey too. I think I will stick to Subway wraps when in a pinch.

Hey guys-

Usual Sunday stuff today: Laundry, cleaning, etc. I just make tacos for everyone as we are low on meal food around here. I'll get to the store tomorrow afternoon. Took Melissa and a couple school friends (the exchange student from Japan and the exchange student from Brazil. The gal from Germany was sick and couldn't go. Melis has been having so much fun with these girls this year. I think they like her so much because she treats them like real people not just a novelty item like the rest of the school does) to see Lord of the Rings. I just couldn't sit thru 3 1/2 hours of that again so I did some shopping (PetSmart, Office Depot) then saw Big Fish which was letting out just about the same time as their movie. I enjoyed Big Fish - interesting premise and it make me cry in a few places.

Gotta run - I need to pay bills today - I do it mostly all online. Something I'm not used to handling for the household but I"M DOING IT! lol

Have a nice day all. Sunny here - hope it's nice where you are. Everyone needs a bit of sunshine in their lives.....

Kel

Karla~BFL is "Body for Life" Its a program that incorporates weight lifting, cardio and lowfat/lower carb eating. I dont know if Im allowed to post the website here so if you would like it, pm me and I'll give it to you.

Sue~ when I did Atkins and Protein Power I couldnt eat any other carb either. It would send me searching for HoHo's!! I was very very scared about trying this program. I had worked so hard to get the weight off, and I didnt want to start something that was going to put it all back on. Well, I followed the program to the "T" and Ive discovered what carbs still set me off, but its not nearly as bad as it was doing strictly low carb. I can take my free day, feel really crappy from the carb hangover lol and get right back to business the next day.
