Congrats Chris, Mauvais, Jen, Sflake, Merrylegs & Ruthxxx!!

I am especially impressed with Jennifer! you didn't have a nervous breakdown, and am assuming you didn't kill anyone either.

Finished 2 dozen ceramic snowmen for my mom to give as gifts. That has been a ta-da months in the making, and I finally finished. Also cleaned out my closet and have another bag of clothes to donate.

I hate the fact the more I try to overhaul & clean the worse my apartment looks!

Oh my gosh, I'm envious, Squeaker and Mauvais! I need to do some productive stuff, also.

Chris, wooo-hooo! I bet you feel so much better now.

Today I finally treadmilled for an hour. First time since last Sunday and I feel great. I was sitting here in my exercise clothes DOZING so I went on down to the dungeon and was glad I did. Does exercise help with water retention?

I did this in October, but forgot to post it. I sorted about 100 socks. Haven't done it for about two years. We just throw them into a bin and pick and match. Actually, it's not a bad system. But I DID throw out about 20 socks with no mate.

Congrats to all of you over-achievers!!

Jen... 65 hour work weeks? Isn't that illegal?

Ellis, it isn't illegal in the US. I'm on salary, too, so I don't get paid overtime - which makes it suck even more.

- hoping to be a small business owner this time next year!

I baked 4 dozen peanut butter cookies... but they weren't very good so I gave away 3 dozen of them. Since cookies are like my favorite thing in the whole world, this is pretty good for me.

TaDa! It's gloomy but relatively mild out there so I went out and dug the rest of the beets and half the glad bulbs. I'll finish the rest of the bulbs this afternoon when Hersh and I get home from her job - unless it rains!

Hi All! I hope it is o.k. to jump in here. First, I wanted to say THANKS for your Ta-Da! idea. I started keeping a "Ta Da!" list for myself one day when I was feeling kind of down and I have kept it going now for a month or so. I "lifted" your idea and just wanted you to know it really has been a positive for me. I also "lurk" in here and read a lot of your ta-da's, so congrats on all of yours, past and present!

Sooo--for my ta-da for today: I cleaned out my bedroom and hall closet and got a lot of stuff ready to give away and organized the rest. (My apt. is the size of a nickel, but somehow my tiny closets sure had a lot of junk accumulating in there.)

(I'm also pretty computer-challenged and am trying to be "wild" and use color and icons in this note. Hey, I think that may be another tiny ta-da for me!) Well, take care, all. wsw

That's great wsw! Glad we could inspire you - I love reading everyone's ta-das - gives me some ideas and motivations.

I know what you mean about a small apartment and ending up with jammed closets I have the same problem and am in the middle of trying to clear out some stuff.

Wow everybody - I`m so proud of you guys.

100 socks. How big was that pile?

Mauvais - Good going on the bills and credit card. You go girl!!!

My tah-day. Last Saturday the hub and I did a THOROUGH cleaning of the bedroom. That means dusting, vacuuming not only the carpets but the bedskirt, inside the closet, etc. Strangely enough I can breath now.

Hopefully this weekend will be productive (and I don`t mean eating).

Having a large TA DA this week....was asked to interview with a head hunter for a new job on Tuesday, which I did, and then was asked to interview with the owner of the company yesterday, which I did.

This job will put me WAAAY out of my comfort zone...but my current one is making me want to slit my wrists from boredom. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

Won't know until Monday.

Whoohoo Wildfire Good luck

My big ta-da for today was that I snuck off with the van and my parents leaving my one armed DH at home convalescing (read deep zzzzz's) at 8 am and went to a car detailer to have the van thoroughly washed, vacumed and shampooed as a surprise for DH

He still doesn't know but will find out tomorrow when I drag him out on the pretext of going somewhere or other Can't wait to see his face when he sees how great it looks - that and the fact that I reorganized all the emergency winter gear and car fluids, tool box ect. and packed it all neatly into two small totes with lids and popped them in the very back of the van to keep everything neat and tidy

I also bought see through storage boxes for the hall closet and organized all the winter hats, scarves, gloves etc. and storage boxes for the underneath the bathroom counter and organized all that too.

And did the groceries, cleaned the fridge and neatly organized it while putting all the fruits and veggies away...

Gee no wonder that I am ready to go to bed and it is only 9:00 p.m. Oh, wait ...I have to watch the British invasion episode of Trading Spaces first.....
