We decided to have a rest day. We went shopping to get my hubby a new mt bike so we can take it out tomorrow! Then we had to run to Lowes to get supplies for our next project. (closet storage!)
Today we took our bikes out we did 8 miles of mt biking...I torched 525 calories in just over an hour! It was a lot of fun, but definitely sore.... I will need to post photos at some time, very nice desert scenery! I just had my phone in my camelback and didn't want to get it out haha.
So with that said I had 2 glasses of wine, still managed to have a NET intake of 1300 calories. Not too shabby!
FINALLY got below 155..it has been awhile. Yet my weight seems to fluctuate a lot lately.
Unfortunately today we did not get a workout in. We had a birthday party, and well a few drinks (525)...2 slices of pizza (600 calories right there), spaghetti (???) some candies, chips...and later on I had shared fries with my husband and had a snack...ugh. I lost count with the party.
Based on some rough estimation I am way over 2000. What a bummer. Those calories add up SO FAST.
And that being said, both my husband and I noticed my legs were different. I felt they were less jiggly and he thought my hips were thinner......So much for that after that party! Weight the next day was already back to 157...not surprised there.
Anyways we did a quick T-25 Cardio for a burn of -200 calories. We then went and worked about 5 1/2 hours at his dad's laundry cleaning, painting, and hanging up stuff. So definitely got a little extra exercise. I snacked some so I am not 100% sure on my NET but, here's my best guess 1550.
I went Mt Biking, burned a good 525 calories. I also flew off my bike! Hit a soft spot on the bottom of a wash, and before you know it I was in the dirt. No bad injuries, just a few bruises, a leg welt, scraped elbow, and my finger bled a little. Nothing to stop exercising, but I guess I got cocky and wasn't paying better attention to the bottom of that wash! Well, part of the hazards of mt biking lol.
We did P90x Kenpo, and some abs. Burned 300 calories! Total net intake for the day was 1210. I made chili Colorado so my I did my best to add up the numbers, not really knowing what is in the sauce other than chilis and tomatillos.
On the bright side I did measure myself! I have lost about an inch in my butt area and lesser amounts in others...but at least it is something to show for 2 1/2 weeks of hard work and dieting!
We are planning a trip to Cancun the last week of February (during my bday!) trying to get beach body ready...though that vacation will probably be detrimental to my diet LOL. Lovely rollercoaster of weight fluctuation.
WELL rough day 19! My husband's birthday! So naturally we gorged ourselves! We hit up a Chinese buffet..soooo good, then so much regret! I was so bloated for hours, and eating all that food I was not used to was tearing me up inside...literally.........needless to say I went well over my daily intake with no exercise all day.
On the bright side we are booked for CANCUN!!!!!!! We upped it to a week since the resort we were looking at gave such a good deal for 7 days. Now we have some serious training to do to get beach ready by then...we leave the 18th of Feb! And top it off we will be there during my big 30th bday! (where did the time go...?)
Well, I have been at it for 3 weeks, and no weight loss. Amazing. Either I am getting old, which I am, or I am doing something wrong. I have cut even more calories this time than last with minimal measurement results. I know I am bloated today, alcohol and period starting don't help.

Worked my first night of mids. Wasn't too bad, but I did not sleep the full 8 hours when I got home as I kind of hoped for. So got about 5 hours, woke up..waited for the hubby so we could work out. Then he didn't want to...and then I got even lazier LOL. So needless to say we did nothing. Total calories for the day was 1300.
BOOM. Where did that weight come from? I was 158 the other day!? Well this morning after work I went to the doctor and got my implanon removed. And immediately switched to the Nuvaring. I am not sure if that is a reason, but for my water retention never really leaving me the past 3 weeks, it sure seems suspicious. Time will tell! In addition to that since I have gotten it out I have have woke up every hour or two to pee...pee pee pee..which of course is why the weight is down. I can't complain though!
So for exercise I did doubles of T-25...cardio and Speed 1.0 with a little bit of abbs. Total of 500 calories burned. Total Net intake 965.
I only have 3 weeks left to get beach body ready! Eek! But I have to say I have been really good about eating and exercising this time around (other than a few flubs on the weekend!)
Another impressive weight, I don't bet it will last! (haha I am cheating since I am writing this after I know the answer......)
Anyways we went Mt Biking again, NICE day, so much warmer than the last few times we went. Didn't burn as many calories...hubby wanted to go explore new trails, where we found LOTS of bedrock which I was not comfortable trying to tackle with my lack of experience. So we stopped several times to walk past those areas. Burned 360 calories.
Total of 1240.
I think we will go again Weds as it is supposed to be nearly 70 degrees! But that will not last, starting Thursday rain/snow/crappy weather in store through the weekend So we best do it now, then we really need to focus on some weights. We have been doing far more cardio (which I like for weight loss) but, I need to tone my upper body too!
