Yay...had a swoosh from yesterday.... I was so bloated. Kickboxing kicked my butt again, I can't tell you how much I LOVE that class...

I don't have to cook tonight since my son is going back to his Dad's , I have to admit i've been lazy and have the weight watchers smarts ones...yes, they are filled which chemicals and sodium but they are helping me for now.....and the ones someone recommended to me don't taste that bad...

I hope the rest of you are having better success reaching your goals...my weight keeps fluctuating between 266-267. I could use a mini whoosh in the next couple of days.

Having trouble hitting the 80% mark on my fitness tracker. The most I have managed is 50%. Am thinking of starting the 30 day Shred, which I have done before, because I like the way it makes my body feel. Just don't want to push it while on Optifast.

These are my musings for the afternoon.

I did the shred years ago, everyone that I know that has done it has had good results....I personally can't stand Jillian Michaels and I don't know why...but her workouts are great....I agree you shouldn't push yourself....mabye do a modified version and see how you feel? Praying you have a swoosh soon....Like I told a friend of mine that is doing low calorie and working out with no success...eventually your body is going to wake up to the fact that you have a deficit and something is going to happen!

Good morning, should be getting ready to teach two classes. I had another winner day yesterday and had another swoosh...losing alot of water..I could literally feel myself releasing the bloat yesterday, it was awful. My ankles were so swollen this past week...ugh......

My inspiration lately is the girl that does my nails, she lost 30 lbs just doing this the old fashioned way....low calories....and she didn't work out either! It simply amazes me how some people reach their goals on their own while others have to turn to meds, boxed frozen food, or other programs....

Weeikend is here and i"m going to try to continue to be mindful...seeing friends tonight and i told them we can only go to a restaurant that has salads! Or seafood and vegetables.....its so hard having a social life while on program isn't it? But I can't become a hermit either, it gets lonely around here

So after a failed Southbeach re-start, a lame attempt at WW and a weekend wedding over labor day, really back at it. Splurged on a nutrionist that friends at work have had some great success with--we will see. Clearly see how it works (low salt, low sugar, low carb, lots of veg and lean protein)--really, none of this is rocket science! And I was perfect Mon, Tues, Wed and Thurs, until dinner, but I reigned it in and am back at this a.m. Already feeling better. Really, feeling "clearer" if that might resonate.
So for Oct 15, just less. Just less!

Hmmm, having a tough time getting started. Well, everyday is a new beginning! I really need that bloat release you are talking about Zumba. Bleh, I feel really bloated and icky today. I know once I get past the first few days I can get things rolling. It's day 4 that usually derails me if I can get started at all. So time to go running. Maybe I can sweat off some bloat.

Is this our new chat thread? I can't get into the "Fall" mindset, it is just so freakin HOT here, definitely still have many summer months to live through. Fall for us is like February.

I've been MIA continuing to struggle with my stoooopid migraines, just got out of the hospital, in fact, after 4 days in there being pumped full of medications. I feel terrible, but I don't have a migraine today, so I'll take that as a win.

I missed my "formal" monthly weigh in as I was still in the hospital, but I can tell I'm down in lbs (plus the ER department weighed me fully clothed), but I'm not down in the good way. Not so much eating being done as I've been just that sick and I can tell I've lost muscle mass, which BLOWS. Goal for the rest of the year is to get my cocktail of medications just right and regain some muscle mass.

Hi to all the new faces, great to "meet" ya!

I hear you on wanting to get fast results, Zumba, but I've lost about 50 pounds with no regain, and in spite of my complaining about jogging and so on, the quality of my life is still good. I still have a bit of chocolate if I want and so on; in short, it's sustainable. Patience has just neverbeen my strong suit. Glad you enjoyed the "confetti" XD

Today was not a total fail. I counted all the bad food. Reset tomorrow.

Carma -- you can do it! Hang in there!

Getting those first couple of weeks in the bag -- that's harder than climbing Everest in my opinion.

Magicsusan,,,losing 50 lbs is incredible!!!

Snark: It still feels like summer here also! Today its a bit "crisp" in the air....I dread that first day of not wearing flip flops.

Apple: hope you got rid of some of that bloat...Iknow that I am probably not drinking enough water...but i don't like water...its that simple....during PMS I am like a water balloon..its terrible.

Annie I wish I could afford a nutritionist....anyone i know that has been to a real one has gotten huge success....I say "real" because I know personal trainers that say they also do nutritional counseling but my experience with that has been mostly bogus.....you got this!
