I am ashamed to admit that I have never seen Matthew McFayden's (#2) version, but I did love him in BBCAmerica's Ripper Street. So, alas, I must go with Colin Firth.

I adore Colin Firth but he always strikes me as looking too nice to be Darcy (never seen movie 1) so I have to go with 2, he looks more how I picture Darcy . . . Though I always pictured a young Alan Rickman when reading the books and thats kinda what 2 looks like lol

I adore Colin Firth, but Matthew McFayden was a really really great Mr. Darcy. The few times he cracked a smile, I thought I would faint. Gun to my head, I'd choose #2. That doesn't change my love for Colin though!
