Well hello fellow Buffalonian. I live in Chi-town now, but I'm from the B-Lo.

I totally understand how you feel. I used to hate exercise. I used to hate the gym. I called it a gerbil wheel with a monthly payment. But honestly, if you dislike exercise, why would you start with something called "Insanity?" The thing that cured me was when I found an exercise that I thought was fun. You say "exercise doesn't have to be fun, it just needs to happen." But I don't agree with that at all.

You need a "Gateway Exercise." Something to open the door to all the other types of exercise. Do you like to dance? There is an new workout called WERQ (http://werqfitness.com). Check out the website. Scroll down and click on the "Watch A Miniclass" video to see if it's for you. If you like it, here's a link for locations in the B-Lo http://werqfitness.com/profile/?instructor=91

But yeah ultimately you have to find something you like. Reason: Because this doesn't stop when you reach your goal weight. Exercise is something you have to do to maintain as well. And there's no point in torturing yourself for the rest of your life just so that you won't be lumpy.

BTW I also thought that exercise was harder for me than for other people. And you know what, it actually was. That's because I had no fricken endurance. When you do things that you are not used to, your body does not respond well. But with consistent effort and dedication you can get better and actually feel good about it.
