There better not be anything wrong with a size 12 cause that's where I'm at, haha! But like everyone else said, if this is where you feel comfortable then stay here! I just want to get into single digits cause I've never been in single digits; I want to know what it's like to be able wear anything in any store and not worry about them not having my size. It's not really a vanity thing for me, it's a "Hey let's see if I can actually do this!" thing.

Yes! that would be it for me too, just to see if i could do it but not because i could say that's the size i am for vanities sake. however with the way i lose inches (lots where i don't want to and not much where i DO, lol) i don't know frankly if i want to lose that much more at all, maybe an inch here/there
You do indeed look fabulous. If you hadn't mentioned your age, I would have pegged you as being in your 30s.
I've had similar thoughts to yours. Other women with my stats seem to be all 4s and 6s but I mostly wear 8s and 10s (one size 6 skirt, bless you Ann Taylor!) and sometimes it makes me feel envious, as if they've accomplished something I haven't been able to. Like you, I'm trying not to focus on that and to be happy with the success I've had.
oh MY - you look fantastic! I AM one of those 4/6/8s and I promise you, your shape is better than mine even though I wear a smaller "size"! Wow.
I also wanted say that when someone says they are a "size" I don't really understand what that means unless you include the make and model of the clothing article. For example, in Lucky Jeans, I have one pair that an 8 is too big, but with another cut, the 8 was too small. So I could say I am a 6 or a 10. I am currently wearing size 4 in Old Navy Sweetheart cut. My hips are close to 40" and my waist at its max is at least 30" and I weigh nearly 140 lbs. Crazy that I can wear a 4 in anything, but I have quite a few 4s in my wardrobe. But mostly 6s and 8s. And some 10s and 12s.
Anyway, forget about the number on your clothing labels, you really do look great. !
