Wow...once things started, they really took off. I added some of the shakes when I got my last meal shipment, and I don't know if it's just coincidence or if I really am losing faster with them. All of a sudden, I'm down 21 lbs total and now fit into size 20 instead of 22 jeans (YAY!).

The meals are getting old and boring, but the results are keeping me encouraged. It also occurred to me today that since I had 112 lbs to lose when I started, and I'm down 21 lbs total...I've lost just about 20% of the total I wanted to lose. Now THAT'S an encouraging number. 1/5 of the way there in 6 weeks!

Yee to the Haw! It's encouraging reading all you gals' Medifast successes. I'm hanging on by a thread but still here. I think I may have goofed by agreeing to the 4 and 2 the second week. We shall see what the weight wizard has to say.

This past weekend was 12 weeks (3 months). I'm down 35 lbs total and 15.5 inches (have been tracking my bust/waist/hips/calves/upper arms).

I was "bad" three weeks ago, I had a very special occasion to celebrate (I finished writing my first novel!) and went out for Indian food. MISTAKE- gained 6 lbs overnight. Knocked me out of ketosis and took almost 2 weeks to get back there. Well, I learned, and I'm back to losing so all is well.

I officially weigh less now than I did when I met my ex almost 12 yrs ago, which is very encouraging

Great job, xirene!

It sucks to knock yourself out of fat burning, but sometimes it's worth it. I've cheated several times since I started, but it's always planned, and I know I'll just have to suck it up for a few days afterward. But knowing the consequences makes it easier to resist unplanned cheating.

Thank you! Weight loss has been slow for the past week and a half- I think because I've been drinking soooo much water due to the heat. It's been over 100 most days for the past week and I have no a/c Yesterday I drank 7 1/2 liters of water. I think I may be wearing a path from my desk to the bathroom, LOL!
