I love them to teeny tiny pieces, lol... I even got another pair to garden in, and I did the Warrior Dash in them last year. Really helpful on the muddy almost-can't-get-up hills!

I run in Fila Skeletoes and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are minimalist, but have a thicker sole so that rocks and stuff you don't feel. I have also climbed several mountains in the Adirondacks in them.

Ok, well I finally found a running store and I went in to get "fitted". It wasn't bad. They measured my feet, watched me walk, etc, etc. I tried on about 6 different pair of running shoes. After about 30 minutes, I walked out of the store swinging a bag of Mizuno Wave Creation 13 Running Shoes (burgundy color- $150.00). I really love the way they feel. I picked a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place show. He said that if I have any problems, I can bring them back within 30 days to exchange them and they will work with me until we find the "perfect shoe" or at least close to perfect.

Thank you for all of your suggestions.

I'm a huge fan of New Balance. They have great shoes. Don't go too cheap either...I spent 50 bucks at the outlet store and got a great pair. Ultimately you do need to try on shoes and walk around..or jog in the store a bit to get the feel. There is a difference between shoes!
