Most people have moments like that for various reasons, but can pull themselves out of it (often with support of friends and family) and continue to function normally. It is not something to worry about unless it gets to the point of doing it regularly or excessively (or enough to actually hinder ability to finish school or keep a job, etc), feeling suicidal, wanting to leave the husband so he doesn't have to look at you, neglecting kids, or something drastic like that. By the way, are you doing better now? I hope so and wish you the best in reaching your goals and accepting yourself any way you may be.

I also have a degree (well 2) in psychology. It's always prudent to err on the side of caution, and while no, one day feeling like this isn't a big deal, if it happens again that's a problem. Someone who has lost 40 pounds and didn't have a problem going out in public at a higher weight shouldn't feel SO bad about their body that they can't go out. Especially someone who is currently at a quite healthy weight, and by most normal people standards is on the thinner side. If it does become a pattern, it has the potential to become a debilitating issue, which none of us wants to see.
damascho I am glad you are feeling better today! Puppies really can be stressful :/ and I'm sure that not feeling great about how you look was more the icing on the cake of just plain needing a day off (I'm just about there myself.) You comment that concerned me was when you said you didn't think other people would want to look at you. Trust me, most people think you're skinny. People thought I looked skinny at 150, and we're about the same height so trust that no one has any trouble looking at you!
