Congrats Catahoula!

I reached a goal today too. I have lost 5%! The key to this weeks loss was eating all of my points.

Can I join?

I need some extra support. I do well when the week starts, eating right, exercise, drinking lots of water, etc. But come Friday night, Saturday and Sunday (when hubby is home) I "splurge" and sometimes I go over the points. DAMNIT!! I asked my husband this weekend if he'd do WW with me and he declined. I control all my meals. But then during the weekend he wants pizza and junk and I give in because I do like it... Come Saturday afternoon, I stop tracking because I think I've gone over my points anyway and I feel like what would it matter anyway.

That is partially why I started doing Monday evening meetings, because I thought it would help. Not so sure it is, but I really love the leader so I'm not going to change meetings again.

I tried navigating the WW boards, but they are hard to follow/find and not very user friendly.

Does anyone have recipes for pizza and other comfort foods that are lower in fat and carbs than their original versions?

MrsD my dh loves pizza and eating out too. It's hard to always turn that stuff down. So I now make my own pizza and enjoy it while he eats his.

I take a WW wrap spread 1T tomato paste top with whatever toppings you like. I love lots of veggies I don't need meat. But you could have ham or something like that. And 1oz skim cheese. I put it in the oven for 10 and broil if I need too.

Depending on you toppings it could be as low as 4 points or with meat it could be 5 or 6.
Very satisfying and if you need to (sometimes I do) you can have 2!

Hey MrsD2008! I do my own pizza sauce with fresh cherry tomatoes, garlic, onion and a bit a balsamic vinager. Then I'd put pastrami, spinach, pepper, onion, mushroom and lowfat feta cheeze. It usually turn around 7 or 8 points for a quarter of pizza

I went to see Blink 182 last night (I'm feeling like I'm 15 again today lol), and we needed to eat really quickly before the show, so we want to a fast food plate. I had planned this so I had a lot of points lefts for the supper, but I went over by 8 points anyway.

I could have taken a salad, but I went for the burger... I'm not happy with myself today

Hello everyone! I'm new to this group, but not new to 3FC (I've been a member here for twelve years). I rejoined Weight Watchers yesterday for the LAST TIME, and I'm feeling very motivated! I have 150 pounds to lose, so I'm in this for the long haul, but I'm ready.

A little about me ... I've been married seventeen years to my best friend and we have two boys (ages 14 and 10). I'm a full-time homemaker and romance author, and when I'm not busy with my family, you can usually find me writing. I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Welcome Stephanie!

I wish you all the success with weight watchers! You will reach your goals. I too joined WW this year May 30 for the last time! I have since lost 14 pounds with 17.5 to go. I'm fine with slow and steady. I personally am really enjoying the new points plus program and I feel like I am having great results. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Oh and I have 2 girls ages 14 and 10. And married to my best friend for 15 years. We a little bit in common.

I slipped up last night. I'm not sure what came over me but right before bed I had two WW brownies and a bag of snackwells caramel fudge popcorn. I had a VERY unsatisfying lunch and dinner yesterday and I only ate half of each. SO that combined with it being my TOM probably just pushed me over the edge. I only went over my daily points by 2, but I feel guilty that it was so much junk. Other than that it's been a great week for me though!

I hope so, but my "monthly blessing" is really mucking up my insides this week so I don't feel that great. We'll see what happens when I hit the scale today!

Thanks for the ideas on pizza. It reminded me of something my mom and I used to make. My mom saw an infomercial for a cooking gadget, Express 101. She got 1, which was B1G1, so I got one too. I was in HS and was going to take mine to college. But, I would "saute" veggies in the wells, then scoop out. I'd fit two mini pita pockets with veggies, homemade pizza sauce and some cheese. Then put back in the wells of the cooker and let the cheese melt and the sauce get warm. They were really good and I think it might satisfy me when it comes to pizza. Maybe I'll try it this weekend, even if hubby doesn't have "regular" pizza. LOL.
They would be about 6 PP. 2 points for the pita, 2 for the sauce and 2 for the cheese. The rest would be zero points!
Thanks for the ideas ladies!!

Turbomammoth, did you use weeklies? Did you dance at the concert? You might have earned at least 2 AP to cover what you used!

I've been using my weeklies all week long, I have 3 dining out this week They are my best friend this week, and even with them, I think I might go over the 49 allowed.

But it is true that I dance! I jumped around for more than an hour. I guess it can make me feel better for my tuesday tracker, but I have no excuse for my really bad choice at the italien restaurent last night. LOL

MrsD, I have the Express 101 too! I love all those infomercial cooking gadgets. I used it twice and it has been sitting in my cabinet ever since. I should bring it back out again!

On another note, I hit my 10% today! I'm SO happy! I'm only about a pound and a half away from losing 20 now and I'm hoping I'll hit that next week!
