Hi, Snorkelmom - Great progress so far! I tend to eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch so I only have to think about dinner. I totally understand the concept of not having to figure out calories, etc. I also think you have the right idea about transitioning into "regular" food. We need time to learn what to eat to be successful in the long run. I hope to be at goal by the end of the year. Then the real life challenge begins. You've made a great start.

I have had trouble with my right leg for a number of years. There was a pressure point at the back of my leg that would make my leg go numb if I sat at my desk or in a car for any length of time. I also sprained my right ankle a number of times when I was younger and broke it about 4 years ago. It was noticeably thicker than my left and my foot was fatter than the left, too. (I guess I'm a "right side klutz!") My right shoestring always had way less to tie the bow than the left. After about 20 pounds, both problems went away - no more pressure and both feet are the same size. Isn't it just amazing that so little can make such a big difference.

I hope you continue on this journey and experience many more of these NSV's as you go. And don't feel bad about no one noticing yet - they will and the added support will help carry you along. You know you're losing, even without the scale because of the way things fit. Such a great feeling. Good luck to you.
