Hm, I might have to try that baby spoon thing. I've got a couple in my silverware drawer that my dd won't use anymore.

I've had the "no showers until you exercise" rule in place for a while, pretty good motivation when you're greasier than a paper bag full of french fries.

That's it really. I'm not so "quirky," just lazy and unsuccessful.

That defines my current problem so well; I'm going to borrow yours instead of writing my own.

Lol, I have a couple.

I wont shower until I've worked out. Cause if I shower I don't want to get all gross again plus it's good motivation.

I try to post something on here that I REALLY want to read replies to but I make myself close it and work out so by the time I'm done I can't wait to check it.

On the days I don't feel like working out, I'll tell someone I'm going to, or I'll post on my 30 shred thread. And since I've already posted I have to! I don't want to have to take it down!

I have 1 glass of tea when I wake up then 2 glasses of water before I make myself get up. It makes me feel better when I sweat to death. And after a hard work out I eat something with protein, it may all be in my mind but if I don't I always seem to hurt.

Haha, I also try to get #2 done cause if not, with all the exercising and jumping and bouncing either my stomach will scream in agony or I'll have to go during :/ lol

That's all I can think of so far! lol

I do the shower thing, but more because of how much work it seems to take to shower, dry my hair, look semi-presentable, etc.

My quirk: I absolutely hate getting on the scale and I usually just don't unless I'm feeling particularly slim that day. However, I will spend for-freaking-ever looking in the mirror. Is that smaller there? Do I see a muscle there? Is there less cellulite there? Sometimes several times a day. I'm a scrutinizer.

I also do all of these things! hehe

You are too hard on yourself. I 150ish to 130ish is NOT unsuccessful! I think you will feel better when you get back to the USA and a size medium is not a size XL. Everytime I look at the tag of my size Medium Nike clothes I am grateful that I do not live in Japan or China where my size medium would instantly be a size XL.

I don't think I could do the pee thing. And I try the shower thing, but normally I just break down and take 2 showers in the day, because let's face it, it's 109 degrees here right now and I need them.

I don't know if these are quirks, but they're embarrassing enough that I' not gonna tell anyone about them except you ladies and gents:

I loooove peanut butter. But if it were an everyday food, it would get me in trouble, so so I am only allowed to have a peanut butter sandwich when I am on a hike. (A hike, for the natural history group that I hang out with, averages 96 degrees, 8 hours, and at least 1000 feet of altitude. Otherwise it is classed as an "excursion.") Also I justify it by pointing out that the peanut butter can't go bad in the heat like my usual chicken sandwich.

There are three TV shows that I am only allowed to watch when I am on the elliptical (on my iTouch screen). And I'm not going to tell you what they are because that is too embarrassing! But let's just say they can't have a very complicated sophisticated plot, because that would make them too hard to follow at 85% maximum heart rate.

Oh, and I have totally done the tiny spoon thing. It makes the food look bigger! Right.......?

I like Lori's new pic too. But I also like Rosy from The Body Shop, who seemingly is making a comeback across all the web pages I am reading this week. What started that?

I share many of the quirks mentioned --- that's so funny! I do the tiny fook/spoon thing too. And I won't waste my calories on food that is not delicious.

I also cut my food up into little tiny pieces. I find I shove less in my mouth that way and my smaller portions last longer. Seriously, I could twirl spaghetti on my fork like a champ!

But my biggest quirk has been wearing spanx when I know I'm going to meet friends for dinner. I find that I get more uncomfortable quicker the more I eat. So wearing these helps me eat less. Weird, I know!
