I never really get asked this either - but maybe now that I could potentially trade clothes with some people I know, it could happen! Anyways I am now a 12, sometimes 14 depending on the brand, and sometimes a 10! Me love getting into smaller sizes!

I hate the whole size thing.

At my lowest ever, 130 as an adult, before I had kids back in the late 70's I was 10 in womens, and an 11/12 in jrs.

Right now I'm a 12/14 in womens and 13/14 or 15/16 in jrs. depends on the brand.

But I see ladies my height, posting here, who weigh around 130 saying they are buying 2's, 4's, 6's, etc. I want to know where they are buying their clothes!

As far as shirts, I will never be any less than a large at the least because the girls just won't cooperate without reduction surgery.

It just gripes me to no end. When I was in high school, size 5 was skinny, 7 wasn't bad, if you were tall 9 was ok, anything over that was fat. *rolls eyes*

And what is with size 0!? 0 is nothing, have you disappeared? No offense to anyone who is a 0, but come on. 0!? I've even seen 00 and 000 on racks in some places.

With the way that the available clothing is sized in the area I live in, I will never be anything lower than a 10, because anything smaller than that, will mean I am TOO thin, and I would look like a twig.

Sizes have changed, just look at Marilyn Monroe and her 24 inch waist wearing a size 14 back in the day. Vanity sizing is all over, especially at stores like Gap, New York & Company, and Target.

A size 0 now is probably what a size 4/juniors' 5 was a couple decades ago. It's not as small as it sounds. A lot of women are not naturally curvy and have small bones. And sizing is all over the place.

That said shcirerf when I was your weight I wore the same sizes you did!

I generally do what you do - once I am 'mostly' one size, with the size above being big (in general), I officially claim that size. I may make a note in my blog or an NSV on here that I fit into ______ pants, but I won't generally change my stats to reflect a particular size unless I fit into it well and not...well... sausage casing

The size I claim is the size that fits me most consistently. Right now for me that is a kids 14, but I have a few kids 16s and a couple of kids 12s that fit me too. In grown up sizes I range from 00 to a 3 depending on style and brand.

I'm not so much concerned with being a certain size so much as being able to fit the sizes of the brands and types of clothing that I want to wear. At my current weight I'm probably near the top of the sizing range for most things I like. I don't want that, because sometimes they don't have things that fit me well.

I don't really think of myself as a "size," as my measurements let me fit things I shouldn't be able to fit, or vice versa. But being generally able to fit into smaller sizes would be nice.
