Mare, you are right in the harbor by the fish and chips place. Great area, Angie and I walk our dogs there every now and then....the Monterey Cannery and Jolly Roger are right there too...decent places but we like Fish House Vera Cruz better for sit down fish dinner....her teachers go to the Cannery for happy hour sometimes...we have been several times to that...they used to have a pretty good week-end brunch but we haven't done that in years...

when are you coming?....I am shy...but more cautious...you just never know...lol

We're here. Gary, saw the fish and chips place. We had lunch upstairs at the Lighthouse. They are relatively new and it was really good and quite affordable.

If you and Angie would like to get together, then PM me. I will give you my cell and the 4 of us can do something.

Glory, would love to meet you as well.

boobalah is getting used to this "meeting chat board people" thing. In fact, he now wants to go spend time in So. Fla and go sail boating with my long time friend and her husband from another board. They were out here and we met them in Half Moon Bay for dinner.

The Oceanside Marina Inn is quite nice. We have a full kitchen, as per normal, so we will eat in quite a bit.

Didn't realize the wineries in the area were having an event this weekend. We may not go wine tasting tomorrow. We're hoping to get out on a fishing charter either tomorrow or Monday. We just need more people to go out with us.

Fishing was great today!

We caught sculpin and sand dabs. We are fixing the sand dabs tonight and the sculpin tomorrow.

I guess the chili verde will have to wait until Tuesday.

We went into the Gas Light District today. I think we walked every inch of it. For someone with atrial fibrillation, I did OK.

OK. Ok. My bad.

I can see why the younger people like it. I noticed quite a few night clubs.

Today was the Midway. What a monumental amount of stair climbing.

Sounds great. We will be doing the Wild Life Park. For some reason, boobalah thought that we could do the Midway AND the partk today.

The Wild Animal Park is cool but IMHO if you can only do one the San Diego Zoo is better...unless you have been there.

I wholeheartedly agree. We have memberships so we can go to either, but rarely ever go to the Wild Animal Park. The zoo is just too nice to miss.

We did the Wild Life Park and quite frankly, that was enough for me. Until I defeat this atrial fibrillation, I have to keep to the smaller walks. (Don't use Icy Hot Patches).

Crowds we not too bad. Discovered a really cool winery on the way back to the condo.

We enjoyed it as well. It was a bit warm for boobalah and Angie since they had the most direct sun. The weather has been wonderful!

Cordiano is the winery we were trying to remember.
