Weebles, I'm sorry. I know the feeling. I tell myself that life has ups and downs and I need to go with the flow but I'm feeling rigid and determined NOT to go with it. I just want some things to do what I want them to do! Don't think I'm having any luck with that tho.

Thanks for the virtual hugs, ars. I need to make sure I have a deficit too. Think I'm just maintaining all the time. I fluctuate between 197.0 and 199.0. Uggh. Frustrating!!

We were at baseball for both kids' games tonight from 5pm to almost 10pm. OMG kids were so tired but they both did well and didn't get real tired til on our way home, lol. Poor babies went right to bed after brushing. We are really proud of them.

Anyhoo, it's after midnite and I have to get up at 6:50a to get him ready to go to school, so better sleep!

Hugssss, Selina

Ang - I'm definitely IN on that summer challenge! I was just thinking the other day what I would do when the BL challenge is done. I need weekly accounting to keep myself on plan.

Yesterday was busy busy, which is why I wasn't able to check in. The day before I overate and I was a little upset yesterday AM when I saw a gain. Yesterday, I kept to plan and I'm hoping that I show a drop. I would be happy for anything in the 152's. At least that's not TOO bad even if it is a gain. Le Sigh.

I had to REALLY resist the urge to go out and celebrate last night for dinner because I got an interview!!! It's in late April and I'm SO excited!! I've been waiting for this because so far I've felt like a loser not being called for in-person interviews. Haha. Anyway, I'm really happy about this and really working on my presentation and anything else that will make me stand out. Would be REALLY nice to have a job in hand when I move to Boston.

Alrighty, ladies, have a great day!! I'll check back in later with an update on today's exercise + food.

Hey again ladies.. i am just heading out to work to play catch up since we are closed today for the holiday, so it will give me lots of time to get some much needed office work completed.. yay lol.
Also i wanted to let you all know and apologize in advance, that the results will not be posted for us until late Monday evening, as I will be away at my parents house from Sunday morning till late Monday afternoon for Easter, and unfortunately I will have no internet access while I am there. I will post the new threads for the new week before i go on Sunday morning, but I wont be able to tally all of the weigh ins Sunday evening, but will do them as soon as I return home on Monday!
yay Sunni for the summer challenge.. i am looking forward to it! and congrats on the interview.. am so happy for you and way to go on resisting the celebratory supper!
That brings up a good point.. lets start a little QOTD(question of the day) here...

QOTD - As we all try to make healthier choices, and not to turn to food for .. well everything.. What are some things we could do in a celebratory situation, instead of celebrating with a trip to our favorite restaurant or corner store for junk food?

I'll get the ball rolling on this q...

You know I'm not completely over the celebrate-with-food mentality, but I am close to eliminating celebratory dinners/lunches. I usually ask for a shopping trip, and those size 8s always keep the motivation going. They do more for self-confidence than a calorie splurge. Another way I celebrate is to exercise. Sounds completely crazy, but when I get excited, I get a huge adrenaline rush and I have to do something about it, so I go for a run or a long walk. When I come back, I'm tired and calmer, haha. I need more excitement in my life .

I'm here.....but not really. My little guy slept for about an hour last night. Has a raging ear infection and tonsilitis. So I'm exhausted.....and I have to work night shift tonight! ACK! So I'm puttering around the house today and then will be going to bed really early. Still now showing a loss....but no gain either.

Babygrant, sorry to hear. I know how hard it is to stay awake when the babies have kept us up at night. Very hard to go thru the next day! Hugs to you and him. Hope he gets better soon.

Angela, Ooooh I wanna hide. I can't lose! I am back up to 198.5 today. What is going on? Now I know today I wasn't OP but most other days are. Maybe my OP isn't good enough. Guess I need to lower cals some and see.

Hiya to each of you here. I'm so happy we are all here together all trying to be healthy together. I wish I had that more in real life. But I am grateful to have it here at least!

Have a super lovely Easter weekend everyone in case I don't get to come say hi. Also, I'm going to post my weight now. Can't believe it keeps bouncing. I guess it's my fault because I don't force in enough water. I know it helps. I do drink water every day but I know it's not enough.

Bye for now!
Hugs, Selina

I'm posting my weight in today because my schedule is so messed up. If, when I wake up from my night shift tommorow and there's a loss I"ll post that but for now, so I don't forget I need to post todays weight. But I am going to be posting a gain. Grr. I worked night shift last night so I had pretty much been eating for 26 hours without any sleep because I could not fall asleep before work last night. That involved a fair amount of peanut butter because I was feeling so sick and shaky. Gr.

Hi everyone! *waves*

Babygrant - sorry to hear about your sleep-loss. I get SO cranky when I don't get enough sleep, I'm like an infant myself!

I had a 0.2 loss from last week, woohoo!! I was anticipating a gain, so whatever, I'll take this as a major accomplishment! This is also the first time I've posted a loss after going away for vacay, so it's a real victory to me and tells me I can have fun during a vacay while still maintaining or losing weight. This is good to know before we leave for Florida for our 1 year anni this week.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate and a happy Sunday to all!

Happy Easter everyone, I hope you all have a great day. Mine started out very frustrating as I showed a 1.6lb gain. I don't know what I'm doing wrong I am working out 2x a day and eating OP. I had gone over twice in my daily points but still well within the weekly. I had great losses for 2 weeks so I knew I wouldn't lose lots or any......but gain????? so Soon2BeFitChick I feel you pain on this subject. Angela I am really looking forward to the summer challange as well and hope I can be once again part of this amazing Blue Team. Sunni - congrats on the loss that's great. babygrant - hope you get some sleep and feel better.
Well guess I should go get ready I'm off to my brothers for easter dinner.
Hello to everyone have a great day.

Happy Easter Ladies!!

It's been hectic here, as usual. No weight loss, in fact had a small gain (again), but a NSV for me today. I went to the beach and didn't feel like a cow! I didn't mind being in my swimsuit, and it fit a little loose even. Much better than last year where it was not in the least comfortable, squeezing me like a snake, lol.

Anyway, court for custody stuff is this week, so I'll be MIA again. So sorry!

Hey everyone a quick check in... I ended up having to cancel my weekend with my parents as I ended up in emerg. yesterday morning with a high fever and insane coughing and back pain.. have a horrible flu.. temp still hovering between 99.6 and 100.7 and am in a lot of pain.. lots of puffers and antibiotics.. grrr to the flu.. am sick of it already.. probably the only thing I dislike about my job is this part.. the part where you are more susceptible to all the bugs going around.. so I will be around tomorrow morning after all to post everything...well.. as soon as i wake up.. haha.. i hope everyone had a great Easter weekend and I apologize for not having the energy for personals right now.. as well as I still have not posted the summer signups.. heres hoping tomorrow will be better.. Night

Happy Easter all~
Sorry I've not been around this week, crazy kid schedules and now they're on spring break. We're not going anywhere, just going to clean this week!
Babygrant~ hope your little one is feeling better and you got some rest.

Ang~ hope you get to feeling better. Seems the flu is making it's round again. Have had a few friends come down with it.

Nella~ that's awesome to feel comfortable in a swimsuit. I hope I get that feeling this summer!!

Bigmid~ could your gain be from gaining muscle and maybe some water retention? You're doing great!

Sunni~ on the loss and have fun in Florida.

Selina~ hang in there, you're doing great too. You're in onederland and the warmer the weather the more water you'll start drinking. That's how it is for me. Maybe try it with some sliced lemon, it helps flush the toxins out.

Everyone else hope your doing okay.

Oh, I'm so in for the summer challenge too!!!!
Gotta go hang up some laundry before Amazing Race comes on! Have a great rest of the evening!!

Sorry ladies, I'm using a freebie this week! I didn't have a chance to weigh-in this morning, and after Easter brunch and dinner, well, the evening weigh-in is so not happening either!

I'll try to check in tomorrow, but may not get a chance until Wednesday. I'm definitely thinking of all of you, sending out positive thoughts and virtual hugs!

And to Angela...I would be interested in a summer challenge also. I do go away for the weekends to camp (no scale), but I could always do an earlier weigh-in than everyone else if Sunday stays the official day.
