I am doing low carb, this is my first week back and trying to kick the caffine too. I have been reading the first week is hard and I can say it is. No sugar, no caffine is hard, but I know the health benifits are fantastic.

WW but I have tried just about everything else. This is the best fit for me and my lifestyle. DH likes that I cook more and I enjoy knowing that i can eat anything that I want.

I do the Wii game, The Biggest Loser, 5x a week, and I am counting calories. I got an armband like they wear on the BL, and it is a great motivational tool! It counts calories burned and steps taken. I eat 1550 calories a day, and burn 2550 (sometimes more!). With 1000 calories as a deficit, 7 days a week, thats 7000 burned a week. 3500=1lb of fat. So thats 2lbs a week.
It seems to be working.

I am watching what I eat and try to only have 1500 calories a day. I need to start to write down what I eat and how much. I also walk on my tredmill every day. I have been doing it for about a month now and I am up to 60 minutes a day. I do this 6 times a week. Grant it once I find a job I do not know if that amount of time is still going to be 60 minutes. I might have to break it down. I also try to do WW too. I eat the smart ones and LC for my lunches.

Good luck to you and everyone with our weight loss journey...

I got mine on Amazon. It's called GoWear Fit. It costs $179, and comes with a 3 month subscription to the website. You download the information from the armband (using a USB cord), and it tells you all of the info. Even your sleep patterns! Then you put in your food. It has an extensive library of the caloric value of foods, and has an option to add your own foods, and recipes. I wear it 23 hours a day. It goes 3 days before the data is full, and maintains a charge for that long too. I can't even feel that it's there anymore.
I LOVE it and recommend it highly!

I eat Jimmy Dean turkey sausage egg and cheese biskies in the morning, Lean Cuisine at lunch, a Kashi bar for snack and then try to limit my intake at night. For a sweet I like Skinny Cow ice cream sammiches. I drink Diet Dr. Pepper and tea with S-n-L. Please don't preach to me about artificial sweeteners, I do not like my tea any other way. As far as them affecting your memory, I do not know of anything I have forgotten so there.

I'm also counting calories, right now about 1300-1500 and keep a very anal food journal. Basicly I just eat cleanly and workout 6 days a week with Jillian Michaels(NMTZ, BFBM, 30DS, Biggest Loser Cardio Max, Power Sculpt and Weightloss Yoga).

I find that with clean eating I have to plan out my menu a day ahead to make certain that I am getting in enough calories.

LOL..please don't jump me in the parking lot ladies, but I have trouble getting in enough calories. When Jillian had her radio show, I remember her saying that the aboslute rock bottom should be 1200 calories. So I've been working on slowly adding some back in to get me to 1400-1600. I'm 5'9"(approx. depends on which doctor you ask LOL) and currently 175.2lbs.

I am very proud of myself that I did add in a protein shake! I found quiet by suprise that Jillian has her own brand of Protein Powder out that fits with my diet plan. 1 scoop has 100cals, 15 from fat, 3g sugar, and 15g-19g of protein and some carbs(can't remember the exact numbers but it's lower than others I've looked at). A protein boost to my diet without the extra sugar, calories and crap! The taste does grow on you due to the low sugar, but chug it and get it over with immediately after exercise for lean muscle recovery.

I eat between 1200-1500 calories each day. I try to walk 3 miles 3-5 times each week. Ive been doing this for the past two weeks. I will see what my results are in a month.

I am starting slowly. Very slowly. With three things. Forgive me but I am rather numerically challenged.
#1- Drinking water throughout the day.
#2- Packing my lunch every morning.
#3- Working out slightly more but not that much more than...uhm none.

I track everything I eat in Sparkpeople.com. I try to hit between 1500 and 1800 calories/day. I walk 60 min/6X/week and do some form of "hard cardio", (running, elliptical, etc.) 4X/week. I also try to have a 3 workout day, (add an extra time walking), at least 1X/week.

So basically, my program, if you want to call it that, is to eat less and exercise like a mad woman.

This is pretty much the same as my plan, but I'm allowing a little more calories if I need it. No sugar, no grains.

I've been drinking Matte Chocolatte. (not sure how they spell it) I love it.

right now I've just been trying to change my eating habits. Cutting out as much processed food as I can, cutting out sugary snacks, eating lots of beans, oats, fruits, veggies, cutting out red meat and eating more fish.

And I'm slowly building my body back up. I'm EXTREMELY out of shape. My main focus is health right now.
