Oh, and this morning TOM arrived...and I had a wrong-direction whoosh. SIGH :P Time to guzzle the water even more
I've taken to warning people who don't regularly eat with me, as I'm putting the food down on the table, that I am notorious for not using salt, so the food might taste "off" to them until they've seasoned it to their taste. And given that I grind tons of black pepper over practically everything even remotely savory, I don't really take it personally. Except for people who salt before tasting. They make me nuts.

I made the salt-before-tasting mistake the other day! My husband kindly made an egg sandwich for me and I never salt my eggs. But I also usually put mustard on an egg sandwich. I opted for a dash of salt this time. What I didn't know was that my husband had already salted it and by his own admission, went a little overboard.

I really have to watch the salt because I like it even more now that I have cut back on fats and sweets. To compensate I try to add more pepper. You should see my scrambled eggs now--sometimes it looks like I spilled the pepper shaker!!

Maybe I should go all the way to covering them with hot sauce.
