I think it is great when new people join the battle! I know I've been very burned out for almost 2 months now and posting has been hard! Nothing like a two month plateau to take the wind outta your sails. However, it

So welcome, welcome! Post when you feel comfortable and have fun!

Remember that "reads" include the count from people who are not registered but just come to read or snoop. Sometimes we have many more of those folks online than members. That's why the MODs freak when folks post their real addresses or email addy!

I guess I am a lurker too, thought have replied to some post here and there. I am 27 year old, living in sunny San Diego. I am trying to loose 20 pounds, I started at 130 lbs (I weighed in today and was 127.2 lbs ) and am trying to eat healthier food and exercise more. I was never an exercise person, but am trying to be one.
Oh and one more thing!! Sweets are my biggest weakness and is the biggest hurdle I am facing in my weight loss journey.

Hi everyone! My name is Laura and I joined yesterday afternoon. With 3 munchkins, I either wind up spending too much time on the computer, or feeling guilty for not being supportive and posting to everyone (I say this from experience from pregnacy boards). So, as with about everything in my life right now, I'm trying to find a balance... I feel pretty overwhelmed because of some of my obsticles, but have never let one stand in my way...they just freak me out in the beginning. Onederland inspired me to really examine the right way to do this and I am leaning toward calorie counting. (Thanks again for that!) I am open to anything and everything and just appreciate the kind welcome from everyone! Can't wait to get moving and get to know you all! btw... not trying to kiss up here, but thought you all should know that I see your pictures on here and think you are all beautiful just as you are - and your notes show me that it clearly is not just surface with you all... that makes me sooooo happy! hugs, Laura

Heather! hi! So glad you have finally posted! and congrats on the 18.5 lbs lost that is fantastic. and sure you had a .5 lb loss but it's better than a .5 gain. Look on the bright side eh? hehe.

I dont' work either and it makes eating out of boredom REALLY easy. Trying to stop that! Slowly but surely it's working itself out.

WELCOME!

Lottie, what a great idea this was/is.

Hello and welcome to each and every one of you. I agree post away. PARTICIPATE. Makes the support that much more - support-ive and useful. Ask questions, join the accountability thread, start your own threads - get involved. Keeps you more focused. Focused is good.
