I never understood that, companies that don't allow breaks ... unless you smoke. I'd take smoke breaks anyway, and then just go outside and not smoke. Eat your snacks instead.

I think if you put efforts into getting your mindset in place, you won't have any difficulty keeping away from the food. The smell of BK oil lingering on your clothing for hours might make you crave the food less.

AACK! My Dairy Queen cravings are CURED FOREVER!!!n

(now I don't really think he's going to pee in the deep fryer, but just the mental image of fast food has changed forever in my eyes)
Ha!!!!! That made me laugh really hard. Thanks.

Good luck, you can do it! ;-) My first job was at a burger king during the summer...it lasted a whole month and even though I was thin I gained almost 5 pounds during the time that I worked there! It didn't help that employees got a 50% discount on the food! My skin also started breaking out, perhaps from frying food and all of that darn grease!

3 words--Fast Food Nation
book by a journalist on the meat packing industry in America
I read the book when it came out and never ever ate at a fast food restaurant again. For visual impact I recommend the movie with Greg Kinnear. It is based on the book, but follows a story line to drive home the main principals of the book.

It's great you are taking your own food and drinking water. That is a start because you are prepared ahead of time. When I was in college I worked at Pizza Hut and believe it or not I grew to hate pizza. I never ate it after the first few times of being free to gorge! Good luck, you have all of our support!
