Even just reading her books motivate me.

When I first started I kept track of my weekly menus which helps keep me organized & a list of ss foods & where I bought them, which makes shopping easier.

Hope you are all having a great ss day!

Default Ladies...I have a question about quinoa

Is quinoa, for the purpose of Somersizing, considered to be a grain or a vegetable? What is it permitted to be eaten with?

Hi there - I cannot find quinoa in my ss book. If I had to guess, I would think it would be considered a grain, but I am not really sure.

Good luck!

I looked at the FAQ's on SS website for anything about quinoa, but all the questions seem about her bio-identical hormones and nothing about Somersizing, at least nothing I could find. I would guess it would be a grain, but it's just a guess. If you treat it as a carb, you can have veggies with it and anything that's fat free. You can't have protein or fat when you eat carbs. Good luck!
