Oh Ladies!! <and peachie!> thank you all for your comments, and the really good advice! frankly, i haven't had a minute to think about this - just got back from a jam-packedbusiness trip last night, and now my regular work needs my attention big time.

and i have a big freelance job to finish over the weekend. soooo, there doesn't look like there will be much time to return phone calls! thank goodness.

Nancy - and everyone else - Go onto the internet and look for STITCHES EAST. that's where i'll be. this company runs three a year - east, midwest, and east.

great fun!!! i'm signed up for 18 hours of classes, one of which is knitting ARGYLE SOCKS!!!!! can't wait!!!

First...Just Say NO. You can call the lady back or not...but if anyone asks for something that I don't want to give/do/say/take on, two letters and you're good to go. No! LOL

If you have a hard time saying it, practice! I stood in front of a mirror (counselor's idea) and looked myself in the eye and said, "No. No. NO! no..." I cried and giggled and learned to say it...then to people next. Hard for me, I was such a Milk Toast in those days!

Now as for the idea of knitted thongs...Ouch! One word for you on that one...NO!!

oh darn, i have been moderated.

now on to important things. KO's thong. jiff do you think that the sparkles in the pink yarn will cause her any irritation? should she perhaps go with cashmere? will cashmere cause her to become overheated? does yarn come in a flame ******ing variety? i'm just looking out for KO....after all she is a jersey girl.

speaking of jersey girls....i wonder what the leenie woman would like? i bet she would look nice in a pretty blue or purple....what do you think, jiff?
