maybe you are thin, you're higher weight maybe due to exercising religiously? IDK
But last thing you want is your face looking gaunt, Im not sure to the solution to this, maybe slower weightloss? less dieting more exercise?
I really dont know, Im just throwing ideas into the hat...

And no, you dont look overweight still from your av.

That comment was a double edged sword for me.

When I first lost weight I was absolutely focused on reaching a figure on the scale regardless of what I actually looked like. I hit my target of 125 pounds (i'm 5'6) and was told I was too thin - I ignored those people and kept going because I was in the grip of obsession and dropped to about 112 pounds and was extremely ill looking - I even had a third world malnurished pot belly on a stick thin frame!

I was skinny and thin but not very strong or fit and in a bad mental place.

Anyway, now I hover between 138-143 pounds and am toned, fit and strong and look smaller than I actually weigh.

I think at a certain point it can be a good idea to step away from focusing on the scale and instead improving your overall body strength and tone. A lean muscular person looks a lot smaller than a person of the same weight who is just looking at a number.

This is an interesting thread!
When I lost weight last time (106lbs in 2002-2004) I got down to 136 at 5'2". 16 off my target and I let it go. Sigh.

Anyhoo, I didn't so much get the too thin comments then but as soon as I'd put weight on, several people told me I looked so much better, I'd got too thin - but I was still a UK13, and that was on a good day!

This time (because I Will do it again!), I will think about my hair more. I love short hair and once I'd got a slim face I had it cut really short - but I think maybe that made me look gaunter. One man I hadn't seen for about a year asked if I was on chemotherapy.......

I know that once in to the 160s I look cuddly, rather than obese and that in the 130s I look normal, which is such a good feeling! This time I'm aiming for 135, one better than last time, and maybe do a bit more toning exercise so my clothes fit better.
