Amy definitely join us. I know i weighed this morning and its not my WI day and i was up also, i was mad. I'm staying away from the evil scale till monday which is my WI day.

Jill - The starting over days are over, You are on the path to a new you and you already walked a few miles already so no turning back now. Hmm think of it this way. Back where you were is pain, suffering & misery and where you are going is happiness & long life. No going back right?

Oh and yes the weight just comes back off after AF. This is 1 reason i wanted you to stay away from the scale so you dont have to deal with the day to day ups and downs.

Jill, Oh yeah, the weight comes right back off... often back to where you were plus a little lower, if you manage to be POP or close enough. My inner fat girl's voice gets really super loud during that time of the month.

She is done running my life, I've done it her way, and I didn't like the results.

I imagine you are having it a little worse than normal, since you haven't had a visit from your favorite aunt flo much lately, she is likely to make her visits memorable for a time.... Hopefully it will get better as you continue to get healthier and continue to lose.

Jill you can't give up - you're a great source of inspiration and kind words on the forum. So stick to it and the hard bit will pass.

No more peeking on the scale. If you know you're following plan you know you're doing the right thing and eventually it will all work itself out.

Jill how are you this morning? Hope you are doing alot better.

I'm up today but i'm not going to stress too much. I had an unexpected dinner out on saturday and a very late dinner lastnight.

I hope the scale is being much nicer to you today.

Jill~

How's this for convincing?

You WANT to stick to being on program because:
You want to lose weight
You want to be healthy
You want to be smokin' hot
You want to wear cute clothes
You want people to notice your weight loss
You want to show people how STRONG, LEAN and MOTIVATED you are
You want to do it because YOU, my dear, are worth ALL of these things.

As cheesy as it is, there really is NOTHING out there, no FOOD or DRINK item (in the junk category) that is worth YOU going off plan. Really. NOTHING. This instant gratification thing is really not what it's cracked up to be.

And... stay away from the scale. Because there are OTHER things to be proud of than just the numbers. Set goals for yourself like drinking all of your water, getting all your fruits and veg in, etc. You can be PROUD of these things, NOT just what the scale is saying to you.

You are worth it girl, if you are not convinced by yourself, then please listen to us - WE want to see you succeed!

Have you tried doing takeoff 2 to get things going again then back to plan? Are you able to weigh/measure your portions to be sure you are accurate? I sometimes find I set out to much if I am just 'eying' it. Good luck and I hope you find what motivates you. *hugs*

Thanks everyone! Holy motivation!

I was AWFUL over the weekend. I can’t even describe how bad I was, but I was REALLY, REALLY bad.

That’s my confession.

But I’m over it. The scale was up this morning, but we’re not going to think about that. I am back on plan and have already planned out the next few days. I also went on a walk over lunch today. The hormones have subsided and I am feeling strong again.

AF was back w/ a vengeance and she was MAD that she hasn’t visited in a while. It was pretty awful, but now it’s over.

I learned a lot from everyone though so I’m more prepared for next time. When I start to see the signs, I am putting the scale away. Nothing good can come from me WI every day during TOM. It’ll just make me crazy and make me feel like giving up.

THANK YOU ALL for reminding me of why I am doing this, for reminding me that this plan does work, and for reminding me that I have a great support group!
