Good Morning

Sassy, your Thanksgiving sounds like mine. I will cook and bring the food to my inlaws (they are old and frail) but its always a tense place to be and my 6 year old does not want to go because she always gets yelled at by my FIL. She really HATES going there but I'm caught between a rock and a hard place...after all its my DH's family. I told him to tell his Mother to tell his father not to yell at my DD or its the last time we are going there...period! Old or not, it doesn't give you the right to do that, ya know. Like you said, its ONE day, and we'll get thru it....won't we

Nothing much going on today, mega laundry and getting ready for the christmas tree next weekend, so I need to clear some toys out of the living room

We already had Thanksgiving up here in the Great White North (not that I did much for it!) so it's just another lovely, lazy Sunday

Hallooooooooo Chicks.

Wow I woke up and thought my DH was trying to cook me! lmao. It was so hot in here! The heat was on, it was only set to 69, but just felt hotter. So I took my shower and came out and turned it off. lmao.

UGH my last night off and tomorrow night is back to ole grind........lol. Oh well......at least I get 7 of my 13 hours on Thanksgiving as Holiday and Time and a Half Pay! (I will be working from Midnight - 7 a.m. on Thanksgiving Morning)

Leenie -- My in-laws aren't really that bad, they are just hmmmmmm what is the word? Well like I said my mil is control freak, she used to be a RN in the ICU for 31 years, so that is probably why she is the way she is. But everything has to be her way or she is like a 3 yr old and throws a fit. lol. My fil is very easygoing and I love him with all my heart, he is like my dad now since mine passed away 4 yrs ago, but he can get on my nerves too. lol. I guess I am lucky in the in-law dept they could be a lot worse I guess, but sometimes you just wonder what the heck are they thinking. lol. I even managed to live with my in-laws for 3 whole years and we are all alive to tell about it. lol. Big to you and I hope that your in-laws are nice and all goes well!
