I do 10% goals...so my first goal is to lose 10% and then my next goal will be 10% of that etc...but I do have a big goal of just under 9stone although this can change at anytime!

This is pretty much where i'm coming from with my ticker. I'm a size 12 (UK) comfortable all over but probably a 10 on top. At 11st 4 (where I started) I'm a very uncomfortable 12, really a 14. At 10st to 10st 3 where I often am I'm still a 10 on top and a 12 bottom. A better looking 12 in jeans but still a 12. I remember being 9st 8 and I was a 28 inch waist in jeans but i still don't remember being a 10. So 125 is a guestimate as to what I need to be to be a 10. Also I'd love to be 8st something and this just sneaks in. BUT - it's totally flexible. I haven't been under 10st in a really long time. I'm concentrating on that for now. If I'm happy before I reach 125 I will stop immediately.

Good question by the way - I'd always wondered too.

I never really did decide. At first I went for 160, but that was more because it was a healthy weight, and within my normal BMI range, but I had never been there before and had no idea what I'd look like. Once I got there I carried on losing, and now I'm about 10lb under that. I'm a comfortable 12, and more often than not a 10. I really just pick goals because they are nice round numbers, at the moment I'm quite tempted by 148 because it's a nice round 8 stone lost, but to be honest I'm happy where I am and it gets to the point where I don't want to be a pound thinner enough to merit watching what I eat closely enough to drop it. If it happens, it happens, but I'm fine if it doesn't.

I lost a whole load of weight about 10 years ago, and got down to 10st 3. I was a 12/14 on top, and a 10/12 on the bottom and I was very happy with that. Now of course I'm a few years older, so I'll try for 10st 7, and if I want to stop earlier or carry on a bit longer then so be it, but I'll probably be happy at that weight

Ideally I'd like to be around the 50kg mark, which I was about 8 or 9 years ago. Since then, my weight has been up and down, usually averaging between 54kg to 58kg.
Last year, my weight went up to 62kg (which was when I joined this site in desperation!) My weight's now back down to 57kg, and I'm aiming for 54kg. If I get there (big IF) and I'm still not comfortable, then I'll definitely try for 50kg.
It's all about being comfortable in clothes, not having rolls (yes, plural) of fat hanging over my belt when I sit down, and feeling sexy and attractive. Anyone who was once thin and now not-so-thin can relate, I'm sure.

I want to get back to the weight i was when I met my hubby three years ago, that was 9 stone 7lbs, I could get into a size 12 easily then, I still have a lot of my clothes from then too and I want to wear them this summer (fingers crossed for me chicks!)

I got down to 10 stone 7lbs a couple of years ago on Lighterlife and they went by your BMI. I didn't manage to keep to that for long after coming off the diet but stayed at between 11 stone and 11 stone 5lbs for a long while and felt good at that. I was also a size 12 bottoms and size 14 tops so had no problems with clothes.............so I would like to get back to between 10 stone 10lbs (top BMI weight) and 11 stone.

Any less than 12 stone for me and I'll look like an undernourished cart horse!

For me it's just that I remember what I looked like and felt like at a certain weight and would like to have that again.

Hmmm, well, I haven't thought about an end weight because if I thought about that it would seem like climbing a big mountain! So I just would like to be not-so-fat if you know what I mean I've set myself a mini-goal of 28lbs as that seems achievable. When I have got there, then I will see how I feel and rethink from there.
