Don't hesitate to start a thread or group yourself -- you may find that there are a lot of members just like you! (from NZ, for instance)

hi velveteen
I am new here myself, joined about 1 month ago. I felt the same way, not sure quite whre I belonged! There are just so many threads and on some I felt way too late to start in (though I think they would accept you even if jumping in late). Sure seems to be a nice crew here and i feel so lucky to have found this site! Anyhow, I couldn't quite find where i fit, there were a bunch of super weight loss t hreads for example, but i felt either late in joining or most likely, Im one of those types that need small increments. To make a long story short, just started a march weight loss thread under chicks for a challenge, would love to have you! check us out! In the meantime, check out the boards and do some reading, im sure you will find your niche! THis is a super place indeed!

Thank you all SO much! I'm going to stop trying to figure it all out before I've even dived in and get posting!

You're not alone. I've been posting for a long time, and a lot of the times I feel ignored in threads too because I'm not a "regular". Either I move on and find another thread, or just keep posting in the same one and think to myself "who gives a crap if I'm ignored" because at least posting keeps me accountable. But I'm sure you fit in somewhere...you just haven't found it yet. There are a LOT of people on these boards, and LOTS of categories. Good luck!

I am very new (about 4 days now) here and I just post where I want. I haven't been treated poorly. In fact, everyone is very nice and freindly. I too suffer from depression, am in my 30s and have no kids! It's nice to know there are people out there just like me . Anyway, I have been spending some time on 30's something and depression boards. But I look around quite a bit. It's a bit overwhelming, but I like it.

A couple of the above posters have it right. Just read and post, read and post. You'll get the hang of it.
And if you have a question ... just ask. "Private message" if you'd like. Somebody will help you.

Chewy? go to your user CP ... I forget how it goes to post something in your sig but if I can do it ... anybody can.
