Girls, I am leaving in the a.m. for New Jersey for Thanksgiving. HAVE A BLESSED HOLIDAY! I am so thankful for each of you!

Hi everyone.. hope you all survived the big turkey day..we had such fun with the grkids.. and we did alot.. made decorated gingerbread houses.. went to the parade of lights in town and the fire works display.. went to the big x-mas bazzare.. took my girls to lunch..decorated my tree.. had 20 people for dinner thanksgiving day and not a crumb left sent the kids to the movies to see harry potter.. and they are packing up to go home today but will be back in 3 weeks for x-mas..i love the hoildays i guess im a kid at heart..hope you all had as much fun as i did..((((((( ))))))))) rosey

Well i had no clue there were posts in these last few days. I was just on my way to "calling it a night". I have some heart burn right now and to keep myself from throwing up, I'd just better go to bed. Hot Cocoa has been a life saver for this but I"m fresh out until tomorrow. I have had a fairly decent weekend. I'm well into my 2nd trimester now and really thought I would feel good like all the books say but that's just not happening yet. I am up about every 2 hours at night to pee and sometimes just feel miserable. Having these past 5 days of no school was nice but it's back to the grind for them tomorrow for a little over 3 weeks which is good since I have done NO christmas shopping yet. We haven't even put up a tree. I am going to get a real one this year and may do that tomorrow.

Rosey I hope that you have recovered from your foot injury. Your holiday sounds so cozy. I hope to be that special grandma to my children and grandchildren one day but it won't never be as super as yours. (we don't get that snow LOL) I am so envious of you and already being finished with shopping.

Donna I guess you are back now. I hope you had a nice safe trip. We really didn't do anything for thanksgiving. I was pretty sick most of that day and went and got a plate from my granny's for supper but only at about 3 bites and that was it for me. How is your shopping coming along? Are you finished as well??

Daphne I'm really worried about you and hope you can check in or maybe catch me on IM soon.

Gayle did you decorate yet? I really love hearing about that decorating you do and even seeing some pictures. We got some icicle lights outside yesterday but haven't plugged them up yet. Kevin wants to do a little more before turning them on. Hopefully we can get the tree up tomorrow.

Well I need to get ready for bed. Getting up at 6:30 in the morning will absolutely kill this lazy soul!

28 hours of time spent on the road was our trip there and back for Thanksgiving. Luckily our car is a comfortable car to travel in because normally my back would of been so stiff from sitting all that time. We did not break up any of the trips going to my sil's house or coming home and I'm glad because the traffic was awful. Just wanted to get there and get it over with! LOL
The morning after we arrived home I received a phone call from one of my Mother's brothers that my Great Aunt was critical in the hospital near where she lives. There was no second thought that I had to go see her. The drive is about 1 hour and 45 minutes from us and so I went by myself to see her. I went by myself because we were expecting my mil, sil and her kids to stop by our house on their way back to Miss. from NJ so Jim stayed home to prepare for their arrival. My Aunt is in bad shape but is still hanging in there. She is 85 years old and is the last of my Maternal Grandmother's siblings left living. She is a dear, sweet lady. I cried a lot for her lying there was a reminder of my Grandmother when she was ill and also of my Mother. It's funny how things can come full circle some times.
Thanksgiving was good although I still can't eat as normal yet. I did lose one pound! LOL Go figure...
Hope to hear from you all soon. I know it's a very busy time of the year for us all. Dana, I hope you are feeling better and Daphne I hope you have caught up on your sleep. Rosey, no more falls OK?! LOL Gayle, hope your holiday was a blessed one.

Hi everyone.. its freezing cold here and im hybernating ..actually ive been working on xmas cards..i want to send u all cards but lost my address book so please e-mail me your address..im all finished xmas shopping and got a gift for myself in the mail today..its that perfume that oprah was giving away on her favortites things show..called "lovely" and boy is it nice..i like to treat myself once in a while ..my foot is lots better but still dont feel like getting out and about.. too cold....hope you are all fine(((( )))) rosey

OK I hadda play with the new smilies, they are just to dang cute. I keep forgetting topost here but nothing has been going on. I can't stay on a eatting plan to save me and havn't done curves in forever. It seems that I go from having my Aunt Flo visiting like a banshee to where I flood out to having a bad cold. I am having the cold right now and cough so hard I barf up snot. yea I know gross.
Once again I had to reset my password I don't know what i do but I lose it all the time and hadda get new one again. I have my house ready for Christmas inside and out. I just need to put boxes up in the attic tomorrw till after Christmas. I also have to wrap all the presents.
Rosey I am so sorry that it is cold for you there. We had snow the other day but it was just a touch and not much more. How is the card making coming along?
Dana how is our babv doing? We need to have an im again that was fun awhile back, What did you get for the kids andhubby? I still want to see your new place inside and outside!
Donna I can't believe you drove that far for dinner. How many days were you there? Was the food and visiting at least worth it? What are you getting Elena for Christmas?

Daphne, are you threatening us?? LOL I hope now when you see I've posted you will post again. Those are good pictures of the kids you attached. My Great Aunt passed away Dec. 3rd and today was the funeral. Funeral's are really hard around the holidays. It seems like the ones most precious to me have gone during the holidays.
Guys, not much to say other than I lost ten pounds since my surgery. LOL It helps not to be able to eat much. LOL

ROFLMAO OK I am the queen at spelling errors. I just reread my last post and was laughing at me. Wow look at me posting 2 days in a row. Are you all proud of me or what?

P.S. I got Robert a free football/soccer table off of a freecycle site. You all should check it out. I have given stuff away but gotten some real cool stuff as well. This table is like brand new!

I went to dentist today for a check up. I havn't been in 8 years and was afraid what dentist would say. I have a few small cavities and a few chips. My gum diease is good meaning I don't have it my scores were mostly 2s with a few 3s and I had some back teeth that had 4s but she said it was close on the 4s and that it is not bad was looking good. I also had just a little bit of plaque build up not like what you would think of for 8 years no cleaning!

Daphne I've never heard of a free cycle site. You'll have to explain to my pregnant brain! Hey that rhymed! LOL Nothing much to report here either. I am feeling better and have my 16 wk app't monday morning. We will schedule my ultrasound then which should be early Jan. and we will find out what this baby is. I am starting to feel him or her a tad bit and my stomach is growing out. As for christmas, I have told kevin that we don't need to do anything for christmas between the two of us. I just want to get the holidays over so we can focus more on what the baby will need. I also need new mattresses for our bed and i want a glider chair rather than the noisy rocking recliner we have. It knocks when it rocks. (I'm getting good at rhyming). LOL I honestly haven't done much shopping and don't know how I will get it done. Not counting my kids, I have 14 to buy for if I'm not forgetting anyone in that count and I am finished with 3 and need something small for 2 more of them. Our mortgage payment is $286 every other week in a bank draft and this month makes 3 payments that it comes out and that makes it harder to have any money.

Daphne I had a dental checkup in 2003 and it had been since 1992 since I had been and other than plaque, I didn't have any other problems. I was real shocked as well. I had a wisdom tooth back then that needed to come out and was the reason for the visit but I had a cleaning done anyway. I hope my kids take after me on that cause Kevin has had and probably does have cavaties and fillings.

My parents spent a lot of money on my teeth so to respect them I go to the dentist every six months. We also have dental insurance so that helps as well.
Dana, I'm so glad you are feeling a bit better these days. I understand about the Christmas presents. I also have a lot to buy for. Another good thing about going to NJ for Thanksgiving, we had the kids to draw names and so that side of the family is done already. I just have my mil, new stepmother and my Dad along with my two nephews and a niece yet to buy for. Not to mention of course Jim which he wants a new razor. LOL I hope to get a new photo software program for Christmas.
Wow, I just realized I wonder if I'm supposed to buy for my new step brother and his wife and their new baby and my other new step-sister and her husband. OY!

On my way to a graduation ceremony at North Greenville College. My Dad is being honored today with a honorary doctrine degree! LOL So, have to be there and that weather outside is FRIGHTFUL! LOL Wish me luck!

Hey here i am daphnee..sorry you are lonesome for us all..ive just been sooooo busy.. last night my grdd and i made cookies.. the kind you shoot from a cookie press..boy did she think that was fun and we had sugar and sprinkles every where..what fun..have a few last min gifts to make.. they are called bo0-boo bags.. they are filled with rice and then you heat them in the micro wave for 2 min and then wrap around your neck or where ever you hurt..or you can freeze them for a cold pack.. anyways i have one and its wonderful so am making some as gifts..am sure glad i did shopping early and now just waiting for the big day when i get to see my grkids faces x-mas morning.. thats just the best for me.. can you tell i LOVE xmas..hope you are having agreat weekend(((((((( )))))))) rosey
