  • Good morning Ladies!! Happy Monday morning. It's another beautiful week

    SweetChicagoGal - Thats so exciting about the new boy! I'm happy for you! Sure didn't take you long lady! Awesome.

    I weighed in this morning at 148.8 again lol. I had my wedding dress fitting yesterday. I ordered a size 14 dress... then I lost 15 lbs so I thought they would have to do alteration but no... it fit me perfectly!! I think whereas before it was kinda snug and pulled a little the 15 lbs just make it so it fit perfect. I honestly was a bit disappointed but you know what alterations are expensive and no one can see the size so as long as it looks good thats all that matters. I am having straps added to a strapless dress which makes me feel so much more comfortable. Now the plan is to maintain between 145 and 150 until my wedding July 9th.

    I went to the gym this morning ran week 4 day 1 of the couch to 5k and then took the dog on a half hour walk. If I keep up my exercise I could probably treat myself more and still maintain. sounds good to me! I definately want to lose more weight after the honeymoon
  • Good morning! Where oh where have all my 140-159.9 friends gone??

    I was supposed to go to the gym and run this morning but I didn't go. Some stupid bird started chirping at 4:30am and I couldn't get back to sleep. Grumpy! I'll try to do it tonight... I know I can.

    Weighed in this morning at 147.4 which is my lowest weight so far! Yay!! Honestly though I'm ready for a new month and some new goals.

    In other news I'm going camping this weekend and desperately trying to think of ways to not do terrible while I'm gone. One good thing is that camping can equal hiking and running and exercise. I think thats my best bet. More news, my fiance and I bought a boat yesterday. Super excited about that!

    Congrats on the boat purchase. When are you guys going to get out and use it? Your camping weekend sounds like a fun adventure, just get lots of hiking in and you will be fine with the eating I'm sure. Mmmmm, hotdogs, brats and burgers will be on the menu, eh?

    No real plans for me this weekend but it has been a little quite. I have my fingers crossed that the end of this week will be quite but I doubt it...I am probably going to get dumped on work-wise Thursday or Friday from opposing counsel. I think they are holding off giving their comments on documents to me until Thursday or Friday so I have to work over the weekend versus them working over the weekend (kind of like a game of pass-the-hot-potato). Ah well. If it is quite, maybe I'll hop on a plane to somewhere warm....a girl can wish at least.
  • If you do end up having to work the weekend you should definately hop on a plane somewhere warm right after.... at least there will be less crowds
  • Still 146! However starting this week Ive really started kicking the laziness..Im going to Kauai on June 24th and would like to be down between 140-143 by that time...definately not impossible but Ive been hovering around this weight for a month or so now..

    I am up one pound and NOT happy about it! UGH but if you read my new blog you'll know I just started this 12 week GET DOWN or LAY DOWN Challenge and I'm going full force ahead. Here's to losing these last 20 in the next 12 weeks. I'm tired of waffling and maintaining and only losing .2 a week...so I'm going HARD for the next 12 weeks cuz I'll be damned if I haven't just been spending WAYYY TOO MUCH time enjoying my new body =)
  • Went out last night with friends I hadn't seen in forever and had a few glasses of wine as well as sharing nachos and a dessert. Not my best moment, diet-wise (and I'm sure the scale won't thank me on Saturday), but boy did I have a good time. Oh well, back on the horse today.
  • Only down .2 today to 159.4. I started c25k yesterday so I'm wondering if I'm retaining water...
  • Well, I've been at 159.0 for the past week, so even though I don't know that it's VERY safe to come over here, I'm going to jump the gun and join you all.

    Hopefully this thread will be my forever home! My goal weight is 145, so I don't really ever need to leave the thread, but I hope I'll reach my goal here!
  • Well, I guess I'm joining you all here! I've been in the 150s all week, but wanted to make sure it stuck. Weighed in today at 157.3, so I'm here!
  • Well after two days of clean eating and spinning and weight training, the water weight came off and I'm back down to 155, thank goodness!!

    Welcome LNM!!!!! =) Our goal is the same so hopefully we can push through these 150's and 140's together!
  • Well, I said I wasn't going to neglect 3FC but I've been SO busy. Husband took the week off from work so we could work on the backyard. It's been torn upside down and we removed 5 concrete blocks from underneath the ground. I knew I'd be busy. I was really afraid of gaining because we weren't really eating the greatest (lots of quick meals) but I stayed at 151....for 2 weeks now. I'm hoping I'm just retaining water.

    I did have a NSV though! I did post it in the mini goals but I must share again, I went down two sizes! I was wearing 14s forever and bam! size 10! Very excited for this. I keep wanting to push myself to get under 150 finally so I can keep posting good news

    Was at 142 this morning (well actually 141.5 but I couldn't weigh in until around 10am and didn't have a chance to grab any water or food until after I weighed in so I'm calling it "142" because of the late time for my weigh in). The pup had an accident last night and got really sick so I was cleaning carpet from 7am-10am. Not the best way to wake up in the morning, let me tell you. Poor baby, I'm going to cook him some chicken and rice and keep it nice and bland. I'm also going to cook myself a nice steak. Yum.

    I'm happy about the 1lb loss given my naughty, naughty Wednesday (shared nachos, shared carrot cake and more than a few liquid beverages of the adult kind that I didn't, um, share). Hope you all are having a great day.
