  • Just dropping in to say I have bounced back up to 142... booo, water weight! But I kind of expected that. I don't know if I will ultimately make goal or not, but I feel like I have come a long way.

  • Hi gang, I'm doing a fly by. I need to be sleeping so I can wake up early enough to make DH breakfast in bed for his bday (it's a big one, but it's our tradition anyway).

    I was kicking butt the early part of the month and seem to have stalled out a bit. This happens every month, where I hang around a certain pound for a while. I'm hoping this one gives it up so I can make April goal of 177. I'm stuck at 178.4.

    I'm worried about tomorrow because I am not likely to have time to exercise (and probably wouldn't be able to after eating breakfast anyway). Then birthday celebrations in the evening...yikes. Then the big weekend away with family and many bday celebrations...double yikes! It seems like it's getting harder and harder to stick to my calorie allotment as I go along. Why is that?
  • Wooot! I made it. The scale read 210 even this morning, so I have made my April loss goal!

    LouisaH-You're so close, but it is hard sometimes to keep up the enthusiasm late in the month. There will be shiny new month starting in a few days and we can renew our efforts! You and me, sister....we're gonna have to report back after this weekend. Let's enjoy our special celebrations/occasions without overdoing it too much! Enjoy a piece of cake or a treat without eating 4 more pieces to keep it company in our stomachs! LOL We'll do fine!

    bama girl-Keep at it! You're doing well, it's normal to have some fluctuations and you're still coming here and staying accountable. The weight will leave soon, I'm sure!

    As for me, I dropped to 132.4 this morning, so I'm feeling very satisfied with that. One more day before I go into my weekend away. Feeling good!
  • LouisaH: with your celebrations. I’m sure that everybody here understands how you feel about them. I also have the same problem about the end of the month but in my case the last week of the month coincide with my PMS and that makes me a little negative and my weight loss is also affected a lot by it.

    MsP: for being at 132.4 I dream to be close to the 130s by October (my birthday is on October 11)

    Today I’m feeling happy because I have been on plan for 2 and half months, something that has not happened in years. In addition, today I have to get my new glasses and with them I will not only be feeling better because of the 31 pounds that I have lost, but also because I will be seeing better lol!!! I do not know if this week I have lost something, but anyway I’m happy because I achieved my April goal last week and if I lost anything that is a plus. I wanted to drop a few pound more to be closer 165 but my back problem (which is still hurting me) and with my body’s cycle made me change my plans and be happy with I have achieved this month.
  • I did it! The scale read 176.8 this morning, yay. Maybe it'll give me a little more to start next month with.

    MsP: You're so close, how awesome are you?! Good luck this weekend. I actually think tonight may have been a bigger challenge than this weekend may be. I was with lots of friends, and could easily have just started in on the beers, which easily leads to eating without caring much that I don't have any calories left. As it was, I went over my calories quite a bit, but I didn't get to exercise today, so didn't have any to play with. What's a girl to do? Not eat cake? I think not...

    aluxa: I think I am starting to PMS too, because I'm noticing I'm rather grouchy and impatient--my surefire signs. Good for you for being on plan for such a long stretch. That's gotta feel great to have a willpower of steel (buns to follow). Sorry your back is still bothering you. Can you swim? That can often be helpful for low back issues, but I don't know what your ailments are. I hope it improves soon.

  • We are almost at the end of this challenge, and we may have started to think about our next month goal. I think that my next goal will be to be at 160, but I’m not sure. Tomorrow my scale will make me decide is that can be my May goal. I’m happy because I lost almost 2 pounds more than my original April goal, and early this month I believed that it was not possible to achieve that goal for me. Anyway March and April weight loss challenge have taught me to keep trying no matter if it is look impossible because if we do not achieve our goal, we will be closer.

    LouisaH: for being at goal. About PMS, I started to noticing the symptoms since I’m on plan. Before I was unable to notice my PMS because I think that I was always on bad mood LOL; now, I notice my PMS because it is harder to stay on plan and I lost a lot of less than in regular weeks.

    i'm pretty happy with my weigh in today. i was sick yesterday (still am) and was pretty hungry so i ate a little more, but surprisingly i dropped. i was at 169.8 yesterday. so, didnt lose 12 but i'll take what i ahve lost. i'm doing good.

  • Hello everyone I know it has been a while I promise I will check in as often as I can. My new job is a 12 hr days 7am - 7pm one week is 3 days the next week is 4 days. I will try and post as much as possible.

    I haven't reached my goal yet but I am almost there.. Can you guys believe it in just the past week I have finally started losing the weight again I am down to 211.8 just 2 lbs to goal don't know if I can get that down by Saturday but I am going to try Keep up the good work everyone and I'll check in again very soon.

  • OK so i havent made goal.. but i made some NSV!!!! since march i've lost 6 inches.. so i was originally 46,40,46... now im 44,38,44 !!!!!!!
