    WTG JAMI!! now im having the same issue you are....im stuck at 259.8 today AHAAH. Hopefully the scale moves tomorrow!!

    kinda bummed bout the lack of scale movement :\ thats what I get for checking the scale everyday though AHAHAH. Hope you all have a BUTT-er busting day!!
  • Up 1.2 again today. This up and sown is driving me nuts. Hopefully back down tomorrow. Hopefully no stress eating. Just got a phone call that my FIL was rushed to the hospital with a possilbe stroke. My Hubby is working late and on Storm duty about 1 1/2 hours from home because of the horrible thunderstorms here last night. Keeping him in the loop is so hard when I know he would rather be here. Not much he can do though. I am sure he will be getting sent for tests most of the day. Just trying to keep my hands busy so I don't put food in them. Hoefully better news late on.

    i just bought one of those upper and lower body pedal things that's like biking. doc said i could ride a bike! yay!

  • 257.4 this morning! Yay! I had a kick *** workout last night but I don't think I'll be going to the gym in the evenings anymore. Too many people were there and the evening daycare lady was kind of snotty. I like the morning people much better. So that means getting off my butt and getting there by 11 so I have enough time.     yeah 45 in 3 months. I worked my butt off...well mostly my gut. It's slowing now of course, but I keep at it.

    SMS, hang in there girl...I can't check the scale daily anymore for the same reason.

    Lindy, hoping your day gets better. I'm saying a prayer for you (hope you don't mind).

  • See now I feel silly doing dvd's ! Lol I feel like a huge elephant trying to prance around. At the gym I keep my head down and just do my routine. I do a lot of strength training which I like much more than cardio.

    shishkeberry -- Yay! And sorry about the daycare lady. I prefer the mornings too. It's amazing how crowded my gym is in the evenings too. I CAN'T stand doing DVDs at home either. Something about it just feels weird...LOL.

    Seven -- Sorry to hear we're losing you on the daily weighing thread but I know it's not for everybody. Glad I'll still get to keep in touch w/ you in this thread though.
  • New here! Jumping over from the 260's thread! I weighed in at 259lbs this morning and im taking it!!! (even if i did have to get on and off the scale a couple of times) after the awful awful week ive had, im taking any positive happenings I can!
  • @DCChick: Welcome to the thread! I am sorry you have had an awful week but I bet seeing the scale go down was a great motivator!

    @shishkeberry: Oh man. I completely understand the "elephant" phenomena of doing videos. I even feel embarrassed doing them at home so I haven't turned one on in a long time but I might try to on the days I don't work out.

    My gym is completely empty in the morning, save for maybe the same 10 people. I am usually the youngest one there with everyone else being at least 40+ but I like it that way. Most of them are extremely nice and I feel less judged by them.

    DCchick -- Howdy! Gald to see you over here!!! Sorry about the rough week but it couldn't have been too bad if you slipped on over to the next decade!

    Sugar -- My gym is the same. It's HUGE so there's maybe 20 people but they're so spread out, doing their own things that it feels pretty empty. Most of those are regulars that I see every morning. And yea, they're all nice and it's pretty cool!
  • The scale's finally moving again! WooHoo! 255.5 this morning.
  • Back down a pound to 256. No stress eating last nite. FIL is doing much better. Can move his right side again and his speech is a little better. Lots of test today to see why it happened since he just had surgery a week ago. Off now to pick up my mom from therapy. She broke her arm last Sept. and finally had surgery. Probably 1 1/2 - 2 years before she gets full use of it, if ever. Off now to run my daily race. Have a great day!
  • I'm at 256 this morning but I didn't make it to the gym yet. I guess it's evening again for me. Maybe Wednesday won't be as busy as Monday? I don't know but I was feeling too blah to go this morning. It's a grey rainy day. I wish I could go at night instead of dinner time but my DF works from 2-12 and they only offer day care from 4-8 in the evenings. Can't let a busy gym stand in my way, though. I always feel good about myself once I finish the workout. It's getting there that's the hard part
