QOTD: What motivates you to lose weight?
I have to say that at the beginning it was primarily vanity. I wanted to be smaller, and to fit into all the gorgeous clothes I found.
Now? 7 months down the track and I'm loving the health benefits. I love the way I sleep better at night, have more energy when I'm awake, and just generally feel more alive and energised.
I'm a bit spooked by the fact that when I have some spare time now I throw on my exercise gear and go for a run!
And I love finding new and healthy foods to try.

My mother doesn't think I can lose any weight. My fiance washed my phone (accident) & so he felt obligated to buy me a new one. I got the LG Choclate (my only choclate from now on!) & I told my mom that I got the arm band for it so I can listen to music at the gym & she laughed at me.
So, it wasn't my original motivation but now I really want to prove her wrong.
Both of these do it for me as well! I am smaller now than my hubby has ever seen me, and he says he loves me and doesn't mind what weight I am (and I know he means that). BUT he is just such an amazing person that I want to be the best person I can for him, and that means hot. Smoking, in fact!

We shall see what the scale says.
Well done! And even if the scale hasn't changed, you have done the right thing for your body, and that's what matters.
Now for my news. I've been floating around the 192-194 mark since the start of December. Some plateau! It's really been annoying me. So today I jumped on the scales for the first time since Christmas, hoping that I hadn't put on weight.
188.2! That's a whole 4.8lb off! I'm absolutely stoked. I weighed myself 3 times to make sure, then when I'd had a shower did it again, and got exactly the same weight every time! So Jen, I'm right up there with you (not quite, but still...)
Good luck with the weigh-ins this week chickies. Lets kick some Blue Team butt!
