Annie – my durn badge won’t let me into your office. Can you just bring me a plain scoop of vanilla out the back door?

Are you on CST or EST time zone? Thanks for explaining corn hole – makes sense. I thought they used dried feed corn as well as dried peas in the burlap for the sacks. Haven’t played that in ages. Have fun!
Michelle – wow that on campus Wellness Center sounds great. It’s convenient AND it keeps you in the office longer not sitting out and about waiting on the docs – think the company factored that into the equation?

Anyway I think it’s a great perk. Geez girl, sounds like you really tied yourself in a knot there. Can you swim for a while or don’t they have a pool at your gym? One way to get the cardio without stressing the back much. I’m sure even the recumbent bike would hurt and you certainly don’t want any unnecessary jostling around. How nice to have a 3 day weekend to look forward to. Make sure you do something enjoyable.
Ruth – I’m sorry to hear about Hershey but at least it’s treatable. She looks so soft.
Hey Mel – wanna play “fill my piehole” with me -

Sssshhh don’t tell anyone but there is a vast food wasteland between New York and Chicago. At least I’ve never heard of Cleveland or Philly touted for their exceptional Chinese food. Michelle and I will hop the Amtrak over to you, how’s that? We’ll get her one of those reclining seats so she can be comfy and I’ll just stand with my face pressed against the window ooggling all the cows cuz there isn’t much of anything to see for most of the trip heading east. If we can time this around the New England fall colors, it would be most appreciated. DH is originally from Rhode Island and can you believe we’ve never seen a New England autumn?
Ceejay – hope you are having a great birthday and not working today. If Annie and I both screetch at the same time you are perfectly positioned to hear us in stereo
Madcat – the only time I ventured out of the U.S. was when I went to Toronto. Oh wait, I guess Victoria B.C. counts too

Anyway I agree with you, I was impressed with the city – nice, clean and I felt safe walking around. You get winters but not like Montreal or up there in the sticks by Ruth. And you don’t have to know French to get around

Do you get the pretty fall leaf colors too? Funny that you talk about the dual monitor set up. My cube mate has the same thing and she just loves the 2 monitor deal. I’m holding out for the flat screen, wide aspect, takes up a cube wall monitors
Poor Shad – lost and buried in the training mess. 2 things they never spend enough time on and always trim to meet their implementation deadlines are training and end user reports. I sat through some training myself and while the team was enthusiastic and committed, it was obvious they were kept in the dark about a lot of the last minute changes. Hope you are keeping your sanity – it’s a tough job you have there.
Lunch is over, time to punch back in. Later kids…
