EarthShaker - WTG on joining the gym! If they have a pool with water aerobics classes I'd look into that. It is a GREAT workout, up to 600 calories an hour, and lots of fun. But, of course I'm partial to it since I'm a water fitness instructor.
It's so much easier on the body. I hope you enjoy the gym and keep with it. It makes a world of a difference in every day life!
How old is your youngest? That has to be fun. Actually, there is no pool there, but that's something I'll be looking into later. I'm kind of in limbo right now financially, so the cheap alternative was the best one.
It didn't kill me, although after 10 minutes on the elliptical machine, I thought it was going to. I managed, between the two machines she pointed me to, 30 minutes total, so I was rather proud of myself for moving in ways I hadn't before. I'm hoping to get in three times a week and slowly build up my time.
Today, though, I'm going hiking on the trail.
