Good afternoon Ladies,
Looks like the board is quiet today. I have been taking it easy also. I work up with a bit of a sore throat this morning and so I've been napping, drinking water, just resting. I can't get sick; I have way to much to do this week and next week with catching up at work and then going to the annual sales meeting.
I wanted to work out today but thought that with the sore throat (and my body sort of aches) that I better not push it. I plan on working out tomorrow.
I usually go to the Y to work out and that consists of walking and weight training. I also do Yoga also. If I can't get to the Y or I want some extra workouts (that's not happend lately, but it has happened before! lol) then I do the WATP. I love those tapes. I bought a "Power Mile" one recently and I like it because it only takes 25 min to do. Not a lot but enough to fill in on those days that I can't make it to my regular workout.
When I was on vacation I was catching up on my magazine reading and I read something from Oprah's magazine that I would like to share. I love the Oprah magazine and in the back she always writes a piece. This months was on about: Noting happends until you decide.
She writes that she "made a decision two years ago to stop wishing, praying,
and wanting, wanting, wanting to be better. Instead I figured out what it would really take to improve my life. Then I decided to do it".
She ends with Make a decison and watch your life move forward.
I know I'm ready to move forward in my life. I've waited and wished and prayed for mway to long. I know what it takes to really improve my life and it's time that I do that (that is: to do what I think feels right, to not do it for any other reasonthat it's right for me).
I 'm making myself a notebook of things that I need to have at my finger tips to keep me on the path that I've decided I want to be on, so that I can refer back to it when I seem lost. That article is going in that notebook.
What sort of decisons do you need to make so that you can move forward?
If you would like to share your thought that would be great, if not that's great too!
Holly: You are amazing! Is there anything you can't do? Thanks for the guidence with the picture thing. One more question, how do you make sure that the pics are 300X400 pixels? I'm not very computer literate...but I'm learning!
Talk to you all tomorrow.
Susie

LOL
The other dog was very fiesty and about 3x his size, so I think her size and the fact that she pinned him down in the 1st 5 mins. scared him. So we're looking at something more his size. By the way, I was wondering who to call when your pet passes away. My dog is quite old, and I want to be sure I'm ready whenever that day comes. Who came to get Booboo?
