Went to the gym this am and we forgot and did our whole usual routine (except didn't walk the track)...we had planned to alternate days for the strength training. But we decided we like doing it all and it really isn't that much. If we are too tired we just won't do it. Believe me, if I'd thought of it I could easily have skipped it today as I'm still tired. It seems to be a permanent condition for me these days but hopefully it won't be. I am sleeping better...after the kids are here, I usually sleep much better so they are good for me that way. I made the mistake (well, not really as I enjoyed it) of picking up the princess and sitting on the floor playing Sorry with her brother and I've been a bit stiff and sore every since. It's probably good for me though. And he (5) even beat me at Sorry!!
I've been eating pretty badly recently...just totally lost my focus as I got so off my schedule with everything that's been going on...shopping, family here, eating out, fatigue and emotions etc. I think I got over tired, which led to fatigue and then emotional issues, which led to feeling depressed. It is SO important for me to have my quiet times to read, pray, meditate...when I get away from that...I think I'm ok for a while but gradually I slide downhill. I have to remember to take care of myself which in the long run is good for my family too. Did a bit better yesterday and today I'm on-track and determined to stay there.
Healthyginger - WELCOME!! So glad you have joined us! As Karen31 said, there's always room for more! I look forward to hearing more from you.
Change - You look FABULOUS! Yes, yes, I can see a difference! You are living up to your name!!
Donna - Glad your GM is doing ok. Dh is so glad he had his cataract surgeries. Also his eye he had the diabetic stroke in (almost a year ago) is a lot better now. Not quite back to normal but we are hopefully it wil be soon. I'm sure your 8000+ calorie

dessert was yummy! Gosh, I wonder how many calories in a tablespoon?!!

I'm beginning to realize that about restaurant desserts...they just aren't worth it anymore. I used to say I could eat 3 T but not so sure even about that as some have so many calories!
Freda - I'm glad some of those who have asthma have chimed in. I've never experienced it but know it has to be frightening. I've seen a lot of people with SOB (as a nurse) and I always think I hope that never happens to me. Dh is still sob at times, and the doc has never made a dx even though we've mentioned it a couple times. He had two really bad episodes of pneumonia one year (probably at least 25 years ago) and even further back he worked with asbetsos without protection, before they knew how dangerous it was. When I've listened to his lungs he always has crackles in the lower right side and I know the doc has mentioned hearing it too.
Cajun - You hour glass shapes always look the cutest!! I'm pretty much straight..including my big belly! I do get compliments on my legs but I'd love to have a cute little waist. I guess we females are never satisfied though.
Rie - Thanks for the nice comment. I have no plans on leaving this Earth anytime soon. I was thinking about the fact that I'll be 70 in about 8 months and thought..well, I've been really tired recently but otherwise I honestly don't feel so old. I used to think 70 was really old!!
