  • Laura - I'm still here (and should be for quite a while) But I'm on vacation right now, so not posting too much.

It isn't feasible for me to weigh or count right now, so im doing an experiment to see if i can just maintain by doing that. I'll let you know how it goes once I get home and can weigh again. Suffice to say I won't be surprised if I'm back in the 270s for a little while. If I am, that will be the first time since I started this in Jan that I've put weight back on. I am trying to see it as a positive experience that will make realize how much I prefer slowly losing to any regain. Or if I manage to maintain my weight that will be a win for me too. This not tightly controlling/accounting for everything is a little bit scary to me, though.
  • 258.4 this morning. Moving on to the 250s thread. Hope to see you all there real soon!
  • Congratulations Lindy! See you soon!

Jen - wow - I guess that would be scary. But, have faith in yourself. You know what's what, even if you aren't tightly controlling it. You'll be fine - common sense prevails! Think of it as an adventure in training for when all the weight is gone - you'll be able to relax on number crunching and just live your life, using all the common sense and lessons you learned on your journey to keep you accountable and in control.
Way to go though- looking at it as a positive experience, no matter what happens!. We'll get thru this decade yet!

My scale showed a loss this morning - but since wi isn't until Friday (and lots can happen between now and then...) I'm not sharing the number or changing my siggy. Crossing my fingers that the loss is a good one!

Keep up the great work all!
  • I so fell off the wagon last weekend that I have some ground to make up so I will be in the 260's for a while now. congrats to all of you who have moved on and hopefully I will be with you all soon!
  • 261.0 this morning!
    Won't be long!!
  • Well I finally made up for the overindulgent fourth of july and am now down below my weight for lat week. I weighed in at 262.6 this morning. I hope to be moving on soon. I hope you all have a great day!
  • Trish - I'm right behind you! I've lost 2 lbs this week to bring me to 263 - look out 250's here we come!
  • Hey All!!

I am returning to 3fatchicks after taking a long break. I love these get me out threads.

Well I am 263 as of this morning, lets see that number go down down down!!!
  • I totally forgot about me writing on this post! I'm currently 256-257lbs! Yay!
  • I weighed in this morning at 261.4. I am almost there! I think maybe only one more week!
  • I just graduated to the 260's. As of today, I am at 269. Here's hoping for 267 next week. Good luck to all of you!
  • I too blew into the 260's yesterday however...it was 269.8 so barely screeching in so HI ya'll! If I disappear next week ya know I gained LOL!
  • Down 2.4 to 268.1 this morning! After struggling for the last few weeks with business trips and vacations I'm finally back OP and back in the 260's - after a brief relapse into the 270's.

Let's blow this popcicle stand ladies!
  • WTG JAMIE!!! That is awesome!! Setbacks happen, all we can do is pick ourselves up and continue on! so happy for you!!

I randomly stepped on the scale this AM and saw 268.4!!!!! Soo freaking happy now its not just .2 lbs into the 260's its 2.6 lbs into it, now I feel like I really belong in this thread!
  • Whoa! Didnt realize it had been so long since I posted in here!! July 4th weekend was a little rough, and i only ended up losing 1/2 lb that week! and I was out of town all last week grilling and so forth, but the scale was down a pound to 265lbs (even though my weigh in isnt until tomorrow). Im glad im still losing, but I know it's SO slow because Im not being a strict as I could b. I def weigh enough that I could be losing 3-4lbs a week instead of .5-1lb. oh well!!

Everyone else seems to be soaring through the 260lbs!! Congrats ladies!!

Jamiesue--glad youre back into the 260's!

Yay Dreamer!! Youre def solidly in the 260's!!

trishn--i remember you from the 270's thread--you really blew thru the 260's!!
