Kathy, you just a funny, funny girl! I had a little nap.

Jim's biopsy has been moved up to 1:30 so I'll be heading to the shower in about 15 minutes. I had a short nap.....after I pulled the muscle in my shoulder blade. Ok....just exactly how old and out of shape am I? All I did was stretch and I felt the muscle pop! I laid on the couch with the heating pad for a couple of hours and slept. Yeah, I know you aren't supposed to do that but I needed it!

I hate to be selfish but prayers for a good biopsy would be greatly appreciated.

Today IS a long day! I had a feeling about it. Oh, and do you all know who this is? It's the sugar monster, and he's coming to eat me alive!!!

Kathy - glad you got a little more sleep but understand the tiredness - I find it always takes a few good nights of sleep to finally catch up!

Melissa - talk about the sugar monster - he was actually over at my place last night - how the heck did he get to you so quickly? Yes I got into the peeps - and a chocolate marshmallow egg! Bad Froufie! (and of course scale is up a bit today - no kidding!)

Saundra - I think it's about time WW got computerized! And what about the warmer weather we're getting? Can't wait for all the snow to finally melt off our front lawn!

As for the dancing - recital is end of May (Bronson Centre) but we are gearing up for our first competition in Toronto in April...and I am now running around trying to find these impossible accessories for her costume - I think they are insane - I am now looking for what is supposed cellphone stickers (bling it on) for her to put in her hair (oh yes moms you might want to buy a few packages of those - and hundreds of bobby pins and safety pins - and wear them in a fanny pack during competition for those little emergencies)..also trying to find black lipstick, big diamond clip on earrings and of course dd can't find the $20 barrette from last year - so I have to go find another one. Anyone wondering why I am taking tomorrow off? (certainly not for me) - okay I am getting my nails done at 11!

Pretty busy at work - finally eat lunch now! (1 pm) as I was busy over noon and have another meeting at 2 pm. I am looking forward to the end of the day and being to sleep in (maybe?) a little tomorrow am!

vickie, curtis and i sit in recliners. mine is also a loveseat so we sit together sometimes. we are there with our blankies up to our chins analyzing the reality shows. it's quite the hoot. i can visualize us in a play--2 old folks gossiping about people on tv.

saundra, our weather is gorgeous. i am going to walk the treadmill today instead of 4f. my feet were killing me last night. curtis says it was prob walking on concrete. enjoy your pedicure.

We're home from the biopsy. Jim's mouth is still numb so we don't know how much pain he is in. He still plans on going out for the birthday lunch for one of our girlfriends tomorrow. He's such a trouper. We won't have the biopsy results until April 3. I'll weigh in that day and we'll go straight to the appointment. I'm sick to my stomach but nothing to be done now but pray. He never smoked or did any kind of tobacco so we're hopeful that it's just his diabetes making a sore that's not healing.

I'm going to do some laundry and sit in the family room with him. He's watching the White Sox spring training game right now. I'm glad you're all well.

vickie, i'm sorry you and jim have such a long wait to find out the results. from what you said i'm guessing it's his diabetes causing a sore not to heal properly, too. ya'll try to get some rest tonight.

I agree Vickie, it does indeed sound like it is diabetes-related. Try to let it go, stress and worry will only make you sick on top of things!

Frouf, the sugar monster must be one quick character. He has sabotaged me enough today. I hope that you are done working and resting now.

We are relaxing and watching DVR'd tv. I don't even want to tell you all how badly I ate today. I have to pick a plan and stick with it. I'm just messing myself up all over the place. I think the "I should be able to just eat sensibly" idea that is in my subconcious gives me a rough go of it. Sorry, I keep going over and over this.

Vickie - hope you are destressed and relaxing by now - I know it will be a long wait but as you said nothing to be done now - just try and be as positive as possible - and keep Honey Lamb comfortable and out of pain!

Melissa - i dare not mention the feasting i did at East Side Mario's tonight - I am too full now which is a bad thing.

As for my 'cold' I am still blowing my nose pretty frequently but at least able to breathe and sleep and not cough like crazy!

Had a big blowout w/dd in the car on way home from dancing - as I dared to ask her to (yet again) tidy her bedroom and bathroom counter - and she went into a big fit about not getting anything (read mp3 player) and not motivated - seems she won't do anything unless she gets something? Not my idea of a mature child......and how she is a teenager and teenagers are just messy - of course told her I was once a teenager and seemed to be able to keep things somewhat neat - ya well that was in the olden days when everyone was a priss! (okay I did start laughing at that one). Of course I am unfair as her she claims as her big brother's basement bedroom and bathroom are messy and I never complain about that (actually I do - constantly - but at least it's in the basement and I don't have to see it every day - unless I go down there). oh ya and she also needs new shoes - 2 pairs (I of course said you 'want' new shoes not you 'need' new shoes - which results in more screeching and crying) and of course lots of door slamming when we got home!

Hoping for some calmness now? Very tired to will try to get to bed early and try to enjoy my day off tomorrow (running around getting things for Miss Ungrateful!)

I'm just so incredibly tired that I don't have the strength to respond tonight. Hopefully I'll be back on tomorrow ... but the IT dept. at work has sent out yet another warning about internet usage. I might not be on until I'm home from work.

melissa, yes, my plan is core counting points. i'm hanging around 20 right now. i will prob go back to 24 soon. it's just been a year that we've been about the same and in the 90's, but i think it's time for us to get to those 80's.

Goodnight Chicks! I finished the laundry and dishes and I'm really tired. Ran pooch outside several times tonight and she should be able to sleep all night. Jim's throat is very sore. He's complaining about his throat more than his tongue. Anyway, he didn't eat dinner, just some pudding and strawberries and cool whip. I made him take ibuprofen with milk. I feel pretty helpless. I'm hoping he'll be better in the morning. It must really hurt because he is not a baby and is normally a VERY good patient.
