Morning y'all!
My name is Deborah - I'm 22 and starting the South Beach Diet today! I live in the UK and hoping to lose a few pounds...mostly for my own self-esteem but also to feel fitter and have more energy.
I love love love my food, especially pasta, cheese, bread, and my nightly glass of vino...all the bad stuff! I exercise every day but just need my eating habits to match those I've established with exercise. Luckily my other half works at a gym, so the free membership helps!
I'd love any support/guidance/help from you guys, as I'm going to find keeping myself disciplined tricky! However we're going to Italy in 2 weeks so I'd love to look good in the pictures for once.....quite a good motivator.
How is Phase 1, realistically? Is it awful? More importantly, does it work? Let me know guys, hoping you can be support me thru this and I in turn would love to help others!
