  • Thanks everyone for friendly welcome back. Missed being here but also really tired tonight trying to get back into normal routine. So, briefly, headed in the wrong direction today but did go out for Malaysian curry for lunch. It was yum! Hope this water goes away quickly :-)

    Realised my goal for the month is five, not four, pounds! D'oh!
  • Jacqui our cheat day is weekly,usually Saturday, a little looser on Friday after weigh in, I don't think I could last a month the last couple weeks were not exactly on plan, but we're back to it now, it works good for us and obviously for you as well
  • I'm back on calorie counting (or kilojoule counting) and using myfitnesspal to help me lose weight again. I believe I've achieved a NSV before my bras fit more snugly though my scales say I'm still 64.5kgs. I'm just glad I didn't gain anything over xmas, even though I seriously indulged

    I had a really nice day yesterday - while you guys in the US are drowning in snow, over here we had bright blue skies and temperatures in the 50s Well, it's obviously a fake spring, but why not enjoy it while it lasts

    kelijpa Yep, I read up on the McDonald's Diet, too. I totally think it's possible, I'd just find it so super inconveniet to drive to McDonald's everytime I want to eat. Also, I can't afford it. Thanks BFR for doing the math! I think it basically burns down to calories in vs. calories out.

    boatingmommy Yep, Ephipany was nice. Unfortunately carolers don't come to dorms - we call them Sternsinger. It's one of my favorite traditions and I used to do it as a child, too.
    Are you affected by the snow storms in the US? Make sure to drive safe in the snow.

    it's so hard to stay on plan right now....so hard. Sorry to all, I haven't been doing personals lately, I'll get there eventually. I am following you guys though and there's been some amazing progress, some fallbacks there but nothing that will last I'm sure.

    I'm so stressed, it was so hard yesterday not to either get drunk or eat everything in sight. I still have moments today..... held out so far. I think this is the point where I keep asking myself if it's worth it right now or if stress eating is better right now because stress eats me. I hope I can find answers to my financial problems soon before I fall off, if it lasts too long it will be inevitable. I'm sure some of you emotional eaters know where I'm coming from. For now I took a long shower, had a good cry....we'll see, I'm hoping a job interview today will brighten the day/week/month.

    on a good note, finally I am down...not without spending time at the gym and swimming but hey I love swimming anyway.

    I feel like I'm a character in the Frozen movie! My car is shoveled out and I'm going to try and make it to the office today. Been working from home. My daughter is on her 21st day of Christmas break...needs to go back soon because I can't handle the "I'm bored" conversations much longer. I left the house to go to the store yesterday. 6 mile trip should have taken about 10 minutes but took about 25. Managed to restock the healthy food. I've got my WW points put in the computer for today, and lunch packed. Feel like I'm getting back on track. It will be good to leave the house for a while and I've got a workout video lined up for tonight. Hope everyone has a great day/night!
